[we are on our way back now]
Elthara mounted her steed and the two companions fled to the misty path where they had left their companions.

On their way the companions met a tall man , dark hair flowing and eyes sharp as daggers. His black Horse stood by him, and his hand gripping his strung longbow, His blade shining keen in the moonlight. His cloak swirled around his feet with the eddying wind.
" I have been waiting for you for days. I am Dregor, and I come to aid you. Will you accept me?

Elthara looked into the eyes of the man.
Although he was rugged, he had a soft look to him, and she believed him to be familiar.
'Who sent you?' she asked. 'Our friends need to be taken to what is left of rivendell so that we can meet with the Istari. We know nothing of you. We cannot delay futher...speak quickly'

I am Dregor of Dale. I am a mercenary in these parts, but the Rangers of the North are my friends and I was asked to accompany you to the Istari. Will you accept me or wil we dalay or progrees any longer?
He mounted his horse in one smooth motion and stared Elthara in the eye.

Elthara nodded.
'Come ranger, we have no more time to waste we must carry ourselves to Rivendell quickly'

"then let us ride!"
Dregor whispers a word to his horse who starts to trot toward Rivendell. He turns to Elthara
"Come swiftly I pray you!"

The Two characters moved swiftly through the moonlit night. Their prescence went unnoticed as they moved with such agility and speed.
By the end of the night, they decided it was time to rest. They were two days behind their companions and had to flee to Rivendell as fast as they could. They had to move quickly.

Turwaithiel looked around, awaiting her friends arrival. Pippin had fallen asleep.

Dregor saddled his horse Feasul, a strong black horse. " We are about a day east of Rivendell. I expected more resistance before this. Never mind. Let us continue and eat breakfast in the saddle" He passed some bread and cured meat to Elthara.

The day passed. Both Comapnions were riding with haste. The night crept in, and faded back out again with the rising of the sun.
Eventually, Elthara glaced over at the new companion, who was gazing at her back. She looked forward and noticed Pippin sleeping under a tree surrounded by all of her former companions.
'My Friends...we are back!' she exclaimed.

" Hail and well met my Friend! Do not fear me for looks can be deceptive. I am Dregor of Dale, and my tale I will tell, in due course. Are you alright?" He looked at pippin intently.

Knows that sh ehas no choice in the matter of whether to trust Dregor or not, she eyes him- clutching her arm. it hurt badly, the healing potion not enough to stave off the poison she knew overtook her body. she trembled slightly.
"We must see Gandalf as soon as possible." she said, her voice quaverign slightly and sweat beading out on her brow.
"Has he sent you to aid us?" she shuddered as a wave of pain gripped her arm.

" Mithrandir did not send me, but the Dunedain of the north did. We must get you to Rivendll soon, to save that arm." He drew from his belt a small flask of leather with small runes etched on.
" The sciences of Numenor are not all lost. The dunedain gave me this flask of cordial, the closest I can give you to Miruvor. Take it, it may sooth your fever. " He dismounted his horse, wiped the sweat off Nienna's brow and trickled some of it down her throat. He turned to elthara
" Shall we put the wounded on the horses and the fit to move on foot?"
