Sure! I think one of us should contact the moderators about round pming and if we can't do that, we'll post it in the miscellany randomness thread. Lets have it the 15-17. Can you make it?

That sounds like an awesome idea! Maybe you ought to add *Christmas Party* to the name/title of the group on the 15, 16, and 17th so that others will know.

Yes Lothriel, you may join. We're planning a Christmas Party and it's going to be RPG one. If you have any ideas, feel free to post them

Wandering Darkness, good to see you again! How about if the members want to, we can avertise it in our sigs?

Rose of Rivendell, RPGing sounds fun, though I've never done it.

Yeah, RPGing IS much fun! :-D
Have you never been to a forum ball like Bilbo's Ball during September?

Well, if we make a RPG Aragorn Christmas party, we could perhaps open a thread in the forum's non-LOTR RPG section. I had my birthday party there and if you write something like "Everyone's invited" in the thread's headline, perhaps more people will come as if we have it here in the club thread, as many A-U members check out the RPG section each day...
But if you put something like "Christmas Party" into this thread's headline as WD suggested, it will certainly work out as well. :)

I'll do both! I didn't make it to the Bilbo Ball because I was having technical difficulties with my computer. Allright, what should we do? I was thinking we could each bring food, a date, and do some activities. :-D

Yeah, that would be perfect! :)
But I think most female members of this club would perhaps want to have Aragorn/ Viggo as their date, as it is quite hard to get a "real" date with one of the A-U Gentlemen . But dates (even if they are fictional ones) are always nice ;)...
Well, perhaps we could also think about our dresses and the way we want to decorate the place where the party takes place (so, nearly the same as with the forum ball)...And, of course, we have to decide where the party takes place (a "virtual" restaurant or club, Middle-Earth etc.)...
*looks forward to the Christmas party*

Well, we could go with different Aragorn characters such as Kingly Aragorn or Strider. And we could go with different Viggo characters. If anyone wants, post pics of your dress. Decorations, how about long tables covered in silver silk with crystal vases full of roses or a different flower. Along the wall we could have a big buffet table with a giant ice scuplture. We could have it in a ballroom in Rivendell.

A ballroom in Rivendell would be perfect! :)
And I love your idea of how to decorate the tables and the room itself. It sounds wonderful! :) What about adding an enormous Christmas tree with silver-sparkling decoration?
May I have Strider as a date then? However, if you prefer to take Aragorn as Strider, I would also take the kingly Aragorn...

Well, I would choose this dress for the party:
Image
(It's a pity that, it will only be my virtual dress...OMG, these Elven dresses are so expensive! *faints*)

Well, what about the food? Should it be some kind of Elvish dinner and tons of ice cream and Christmas sweets? ;)

I was thinking about taking Strider, but since you've been a big help, you can have him, I'll take Kingly Aragorn :-D . Yeah, a giant Christmas tree would be great, with gifts! I love that dress. I have to find something... Maybe the meal can be a cross between Elven food and our favorites.... what do you think elves ate?

Thanks for leaving Strider to me, Lady Raine. *bows*

Elvish food? Lembas!
Well, that's the only thing I can think of now, but I hope we're not going to eat only Lembas for three days, as Frodo and Sam didn't seem to like it that much. ;)
Other Elvish food? That's a hard question. I think they would have some special cakes and would perhaps also eat something similar to ice cream and many different fruits, but I can't imagine anything else.
So, what about having Elvish cakes and cookies in the afternoon and for dinner some kind of Elvish soup, then our favorite meals and afterwards Elvish sweets, fruits and ice-cream?

I like that idea. How about any modern food like cheesecake or pizza? We could make it informal for the last day. What about activities? I was thinking some dancing, sleigh rides, a snow ball fight, maybe a couple of card games, and opening gifts? Your welcome Rose of Rivendell.

I like the idea of an informal third day! :) And cheesecake and pizza would be great.
Your ideas for the activities are wonderful! Maybe we could also include some ice sculputure contests or something like that.
By the way, what kind of music will we have?

Thanks Rose! Yeah, an ice-sculpture contest would be great! As for music, how about a little bit of everything except rap?

Yeah, that would be great. :)
I think it will be a nice mixture of our favourite Christmas songs and our favourite "normal" songs then... :)

Only two more days till the party begins!
