As the brown robed figure was preparing his spell to attack the knight, Gareion acted and opened the back door of the farmhouse. He gazed at the others quickly.

"Now! Run for the woods"

He commanded, Darkos was first to move out. He sneaked to the corner of the house and pointed his bow towards the hill, making sure that should they be spotted then he might provide covering fire for the rest of them.

Rhiannon hesitated a moment, and then did as she was told, catching her brother's sleeve and running towards the cover of the trees with only one glance over her shoulder.

The elf's attention turned to the robed man who was about to cast a spell on her. She raised her hand that now held no bow, and spoke.
"Skölir," was all she said, and a glimmering silver shield wrapped around her and her mount, she said the word again, "skölir," and a green shield came around her over the silver one making the shield twice a strong so no blade, magic, arrow, and anything else may penetrate it unless weakened enouph.

With keen elven ears, Arrearis heard the opening of a door, voices, though she couldn't make out what they said, and scuffling feet. But before she attended to finnish what she had begun with the ex-paladin, Arrearis had to get the pesky scholar out of the way.

(um... Curunir, hows the little battle with Arrearis and the mage person going to work out? And I don't want to be the bad person tracking down the group the whole time!)

[this reminds me of Sword of Shannara by Terry Brooks or first book in Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan]

Glancing back once at Gareion, Knyn turned and brought up the rear behind Rivhon. He ducked under the trees and gestured for them to continue running for a small stream that ran next to the farm house.

(Eh heh lol I must admit that I have NOT read those bokks so I haven`t copied anything, if you are trying to say so and... well I had the image of knights not being spellcasters and if they had any powers ever then they would have received them from the gods)

(gr... well then, my knights sup'osed to die? How about the only spell casting she can do is a shield? Other than that she has no means of defense from the mage person thats attacking her?)

(common sense tells anyone to dodge unless they have magical abilities, its not like I want you dead or if you allow I can get you into the plot in another way that your character would be imprisoned)

The mage proved faster and more cunning than Arrearis had come to imagine, it was not a fireball nor a lightning bolt that hurled at her out of the bloom, but a ball of web. The ball exploded onto Arrearis and caged her into the web, all of her limbs would be hard to move and she was practicly a fly that had just flew straight into a trap. The scholar smirked slightly at the result and grabbed the web, he began dragging her after him towards the farmhouse.

Gareion realised this and ran to meet the scholar as the others headed for the woods still or had stopped to examine the situation, Gareion greeted the scholar.

"Gorion, I never thought they would put you up to the job" Gareion smiled.

"Any of us would be capable of taking the challenges of protecting the siblings when Darkos would have failed I believe... it seems that the order has not forgiven you nor us what we did in that tomb..." Gorion said with a careless attitude as, if the order was no challenge to them.

"Ah... mockery of the dead was one accusation... and of course grave robbing... all tough I can think of some who would not have minded such a dirty deed..." Gareion said with a smile as he remembered the angry face of the paladins he had actually seen as it came clear that Gareion had abandoned them.

Gorion chuckled "Indeed, but for now we must eradicate this nuissance out of our way..."

"Do we? If she turns out dead they will send another, if we keep her alive..." Gareion questioned

"They think that the chase is on" Gorion continued the line of conclusioning.

"That would be the obvious conclusion" Gareion said with a nod.

"Wonderful"

Gorion said, closing the conversation as Gareion grabbed the web starting to drag Arrearis after him. Gareion gazed at Arrearis quietly, he did not remember her too well, but she was a face that came to mind in the middle of a crowd.

"So Arrearis how has life treated you? The grandmaster wasn`t too glad when I left?"

The whole time Arrearis strugled against the magic web, but eventually have up. She stared angrly at Gareion as he talked to her.
"Whose to tell you? Traiter!"

"Oath braker perhaps, but nothing more. The way I see it I stumbled upon a greater cause than I was already pursuing and perhaps that new cause made me see how futile and foolish my oath was. Perhaps I came to realise that order was rotten, that many joined it in order to gain themselves not to help others as long ago intended....

Intended by a god..."

He spoke with a calm voice, but muttered the last words quietly as they approached the others who were obviously staring at them. Gareion pulled her into front of them and pushed herslightly with his foot.

"We have a new weight on our journey that has not even began"

Rhiannon did not look happy about this. "Who's she?" she demanded, looking at whoever it was inside that curious net. "It doesn't do much for your credibility when you introduce new members of this party every minute or two."
