He was! Though he got alot uglier after he was shot in the forehead... but it was by Eragon... wasn't Murtagh suposed to be the one to shoot him? And his scar wasn't just a strait line down his back... it was like only six inches long, and had two other scars branching off of it.
But it was a great movie! Great grafics! The baby Saphira was sooo cute! And There was actually parts were you could luaph, the whole theater luaphed at some parts!

I couldn't tell you like Durza. 
I think there should have been a lot more of Brom, Murtagh, Roran, ya know, backround stuff...
and yeah, Murtagh was supposed to shot Durza in the head... _________________

hehe..I hated the movie. Yeah I am a stickler for cannon and it was just to diffrent for me. But there were some good parts (I am talking about Murtagh being a total jerk to Eragon at the end..That was so funny..I won't say anything else cause I know some of you havn't seen it) and baby saphira is the cutest thing in the world, I want a baby dragon now. But besides that it was just to diffrent from the book, and some of the actors in my opinion were..well mediocre...but I'll shut up now before I tell the ending like i'm prone to do. So to paraphrase I hated it..except for Murtagh...being pretty. (cause Garett didn't do the best job in some parts) Ok leaving now...

yep!!! I have a huge folder saved on my computer of Eragon, Murtagh, Brom, Arya, Saphira banners that as soon as a couple more people get done with banners I am going to animate them all together!!! WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! _________________

Though I liked the part in the movie, near the end, were Murtagh kinda tricks Eragon! Some people would think that mean... but I would probably do that! My dad tricks me alll the time!
