I like that quote too. What I found interesting was that the tenth doctor replied to that same exact line. I'm not sure if that was intentional, but I thought it was interesting. The man was getting all fussy and he yelled. "I'm talking!" then the Doctor turns around and yells back "And I'm not listening!" It was really funny.

One of my favorite Doctor Who quotes : "This thing's like 'rawr, I'm having some of that.' I'm impressed." It was so funny how he did it.

eowyn of ithilien, I also love Christopher Eccleston. He was an amazing doctor. David Tennant has done an amazing job, and he is so much fun to watch, but there is a little piece of my heart that goes out to CE. He was my first doctor. I love his ears, his accent, the way he says 'fantastic'....Its just amazing.

nauriel - i feel exactly the same way. eccleston was my first doctor too, so i don't think anyone will replace him for me. i absolutely love his voice (the lancashire accent rocks) and despite not being particularly attractive, he's just so darn sexy! he can send shivers down my spine - i think it's those incredibly intense eyes of his.

My friends and I were talking about that-sort of. We were dicussing how a guy that doesn't look very good can suddenly seem really really attractive if his personality is really amazing. That's how it is with the Doctor Nine and Doctor Ten. Before I had seen an episode with Doctor Ten in it I couldn't understand why everyone was calling him cute. He' sisn't look bad, but he just wasn't cute. But now that I have seen the episodes with him in it, he's just so adorable! But The Doctor Nine. He's scary, but in a sexy 'come here and hug me now' kind of way. And I do love his ears.

In the battle of the Doctors. I have to gove my vote to DT, I gotta stick by my fellow Scots :P

But I definetly agree with Christophers sex appeal, he just has this certain something that draws you to him. I cannot wait to see him in Heroes when it starts back up.

ah, but i won't be able to see it. man, that sucks! i will be watching the drama thingymabob he's in on the 28th though.

what do people think of what they've seen of the christmas special so far? from the clips i've seen, catherine tate's playing it like another one of her completely over the top characters, which doesn;t feel right in doctor who. i have it a feeling she's really going to anny me.

It'll be online, so you can watch it then. Or at least till it starts in the UK in February on Sci-Fi.

I haven't seen much in regards to the Christmas special, but I'm not a huge fan of Catherine Tate so I dunno how I'm gonna feel about her character. I guess we'll soon see on Monday.

I liked last crimbo special, so I hope this one does it justice, though I'm doubting it if it involves a giant spider and Catherine Tate. But it'll still be Doctor Who, and crimbo specials always leave me with a warm and fuzzy feeling inside. :)

Radio Times readers will know thers a brief hint of whats to come in series 3-

"a meeting with Shakespeare and at least 3 new monsters, galatic stormtroopers the Judon; blood sucking Plasmavores; and Carrionites"

I'll be watching this Drama with Chris Eccletone in, he looks so weird with hair! And Billie Piper is staring in a TV adaption of Ruby in the Smoke, as Sally Lockhart, which is one of my favourite books, so I'm happy.

if you think he looks weird with hair, watch the invisible circus - for half the film he looks like this:

tis a very good film, after the initial shock of the hair.

Oh...oh he looks rather fantabulous with long hair. Mmmhmmm....
*ahem*

He wont be in Heroes till it starts back on the 22nd of January. Everyone should watch that show anyway, it's several shades of awesome.

Like Doctor Who? :-D
I was watching sci-fi today and I saw a preview for the season finaly! It said somthing like "Get ready for the season that changes everything" And it had the doctor yelling Rose's name. It looked like he was in an opened airlock. The opened airlock syndrome happens a lot in scifi.

@Hair  That is v. scary. Did he have hair in Cracker? I shall always see him with his Doctor Who hairdo though. Just like I found David Tennants scottish accent strange cos I'm usedto his British accent from Doctor Who.
@Comment bout Heroes- The 10 minutes f this proggy I watched before the computer crashed were good :P I'll be waiting patiently till February.
@Nauriel- Yep, that'd be Army of Ghosts and Doomsday. :'(

His scottish accent is so cute! His voices raises an octive. Its most definately squee worthy.

One of the good things that comes from watching Doctor Who: I can now understand british accents pretty well. In some of the episodes the dialogue would just be fired off one right after the other and it was hard to understand. But by now I've watched Doctor Who so much I can understand them now!

I have a question. Does anybody know where I can find a clip of the holo-doctor's speach in the episode "parting of the ways"? for some reason I really want to watch it again.

^ bet you still couldn't understand geordie though! man, that's a difficult accent. i watched billy elliot with my german flatmate and i had to put the subtitles on for him - he speaks perfect english, but he couldn't understand a word they were saying because of the accent.

they've made a good start in dr who, but they've still got a few accents left to cover - i don't recall there being any scousers, geordies or brummies yet. i really want to see a brummy in the next series cuz the accent always makes me laugh - "i went on the buzz to see the babby"

and have you tried looking on youtube for that clip?

You find British accnts hard to understand! I thought we had one of the easiest. But then again, being English, I'd think that.
Oh, and Nathan Fillion, was on Lost this week! He just needs to be on Doctor Who and my life will be complete...
