The Nightingale is escorted in by Caderyn, who is looking at her with a smile of joy flitting across his face.
Turning, he bowed towards the Nightingale. "May I have this dance?"
Nightingale curtsied. "Who else would I give it to?" She took Caderyn's hand and together they whirled around with the other couples in the room.
Nightingale looked into Cadernyn's eyes, her own filled with sheer delight.
"I'm so happy my dad let me come..."
Nightingale and Caderyn continued to waltz around the room until the song ended. "Thank you, my lady. Where to now?"
"The snowball fight, my knight!"

Luthien could hardly notice all the activity in the room as she was spun by FaZ. For all of his earlier protesting, he really was a fine dancer. The music stopped, and the couples all clapped for the band. FaZ took Luth by the hand and led her off the dancefloor.
"Would you care for some punch, m'dear?"
Luth saw some more people entering the room, "Not quite yet, let's be sociable for a little while."

Returning after her birthday celebrations, JF walked back into the ballroom where she noticed that her fiance Commdore Norrington was waiting for her. A slight mishap with his carraige had caused the delay, but as they were now together *sigh*, they decided to take a short stroll in the gardens before dancing.

Luthien noticed JF come in and dragged her hubby towards her, but Norrington had whisked her away before they could emerge from the crowd. Luthien didn't have any time to follow them, though, as another familiar face made a grand entrance. She placed her hand in the crook of FaZ's arm and glided over to him.
FaZ smiled broadly and reached out a hand in greeting, "Why hello Elegost, I was wondering when you would show up!"

As the music ended, Elenriel spoke to Legolas again. "How about a stroll in the gardens?" she asked him.
"If that is what you desire, so be it." he replied. With that she quickly grabbed her cloak and the two exited the ballroom and stepped into the cool, wintry air.

Este stepped back in to the ball room, her cheeks red from the cold. She gave her cloak and gloves to the doorman and entered the room that was rappidly filling with people. She spotted Luth, FaZ and Elegost, and wandered over to see them.

As Luth, FaZ and Elegost were just starting to chat, Este approached. Luth immediately gave her aunt a hug, "Hi Auntie Este! You look lovely! It is so good to see you!"

Altariel wandered into the ball room, and lowered her dark hood. She looked around the room in interest, watching all the other couples. She was one of the few singles in the room, but she did not mind. She moved to a corner and stood there watching, as always.
