Alright, this is my first AU non-LotR RPG, so... *gulp* here goes nothing. I have a entire new race that I oringinally came up with for a different RPG, but I liked it so much... I couldn't resist.
PLOT:
The land of Ikrean inhabits many different races, Ikeains, humans, and the occationall hybrid of the two. But there are those of the Ikrean who have power in their blood, tracing back thousands of thousands of years. This is where the story begins. There are 6 Ikrean who possess powers beyond what anyone has ever known in their generation. They and their bloodline are called the Ignae-Kiani, which means 'Power Bearing' in the Ikrean tongue. Though this title has been shortened to Kiani over the years. Though these powers come with weaknesses however, and for many of their ancesstors, it was the death of them. These six are realated, weather that is known to all of them, is uncertain. But none of them yet know of their power.
The King, Trienus, decided that it was safest for them to not know, assuming that as long as they didn't know, they couldn't cause any damage, or become indangered. So he had them put in safe homes, separate from each other, and insructed the gardians personally not to let them find out about their abilities - on pain of death. So for their entire lives, they havn't known of their heritage. That is, until the eldest, Genrik, comes of age, and then the orders of the king become vain, as he learns of his powers. Enraged at the king for holding back his destiny, Genrik strikes out and kills him. And so the king's son, Sielio, takes the crown. However, Sielio was nieve and selfish in his ways, and has put his land at a stage of civil war.
For four years they fight, until they tore into two nations, Ikrean, and Rhiosim. Ikrean remains loyal to its king - however idiodic it may seem, while its former southern half attempts to regroup to overthrow the king. But they have acheived a weapon that their northern cousin does not have - Genrik. He has decived hundreds, and is planning not only to kill Sielio, but has a plan running through his head that - if completed, could only spell disaster.
And now, Genrik's five siblings, the twins, and the three others, must first discover their abilities, and then go agaist their own brother in an epic battle of magic, witts, arms, trust, loyalty, betrayal, and unkown power.
IKREAN & IKREAINS:
Ikrean inherits its name from the one who discovered the region. Ikreai were plentiful throughout the enitire world until all either died, or traveled to the country Ikrea. They were known as Hentira, until they were only living on Ikrean, where they became known as Ikreai, adapting the name from the land. Ikrean is hostile and harsh to those that do not know it, for it can be both jungle and tundra within a matter of miles. The Ikreai and humans living in Ikrean have developed 'bases' or oiasis that prevent too many deaths amoung their population, and anyone who is a friend.
Ikeains are a quite pecular people, very united with each other, no matter who they are and what station they are at. They age such as humans, until they are around the age of 35, or 38 - more accuratly. From there they do not age in appearence, but inside, they know when it they age, even if it does not show. They live to be around 800, 900, sometimes 1000 yeas old before they go off peacfully into a forest or jungle and pass from the world. They also all posses eerie silver eyes. Many say that the eyes are the window to the soul, but if a non-ikreain was to look into the eyes of a ikeain, the ikreain would be able to show them much, much more than just their soul. (Think about Galadriel's mirror! ) Though many victims of such happenings are too frightened about the subject to speak of it.

Same template for Kiani, exept please state powers (limit of 3) weaknesses (must have two) and they must be under 18, exept the twins, who turn 18 (coming of age) when the story begins. And please, don't make one of the Kiani evil for the entire time. Part-time is ok, but if you're lookin' for a all-out evil Kiani, go with Grenik.

NOTE: The magic used in Ikrean is based off of Chistopher Paolini's 'Eragon' so if you see simalarities... Thats where I originally got the idea.
