Nimrodel gazed at the decorations - they ranged from the beautiful and elegant to some that were downright silly, but all looked as if they belonged. She refilled her glass.

Celeb hated to leave, but it was getting late. She politely thanked Dr. Merrick for the wonderful dance, and kissed him on the cheek goodbye. Then she picked up her skirts and went outside to wait for the carraige that would take her home. Before she left the room though, she called out to everyone, "It was a beautiful ball! I'm sorry I'll have to miss the next one. Good night everyone, and Merry Christmas!!"

Liadan and her partner broke off dancing. Liadan walked over to where a woman was standing near the drink table. "Let's see if I can figure out who some people are." she said under her breath. Outloud, she greeted the stranger. "Hello, how are you doing?"

Dr. Merrick checked his watch and realized that his car was waiting for him. So he waved everyone good bye and departed from the rather pleasant ball.

Princess Peach returned to the masquerade after her long absence. She could tell that a good time had been had by all, and though the night was young, midnight would creep upon them soon enough and end this fair soiree. Gliding over to the drinks table, she ordered a virgin pina colada and surveyed the remaining crowd.

Isildur was still at the Masquerade, swaying a little over left to right, right to left. His head was currently out of control, completely giddied. Crashed by the people in his way. However, he was trying to drink one glass of cider even though he is so drunk and swaying around.
