(I know! I know exactly whats going on, but don't know what to post... *thinks*)
Gibbs took many more swigs from his bottle of wisky and started setting sail. Since no one was at the now somewhat broken weel, he went up there and did his best to stear.

Pintel hand't followed Will and Elizabeth down deck, and started pulling on ropes and such to help get the masts ready for sailing. When Elizabeth came up on deck, and whispered to Ragetti.
"What you think happen to Jack? Some thin' tells me he ain't doin' so well."

Jack frowned his eyebrows and then gladly sashayed himself up the stairs, bumping past old coral shoulders, then made his way face to face with young William. "Curiosity.."
Jack Sparrow grinned with lazy eyes.

Ragetti squinted and looked in the direction of Will and Jack who were now face to face, coming up from below deck. He shrugged his shoulders and then proceeded to say, "Well, ye see, Jack there is now apart of Davey Jones' crew. So in reality, his soul belongs to 'im now. Jack's appearance continues to change the longer he belongs to Jones. And I believe he's now settling some unresolved business with his friend, Will Turner." He then burped and smiled at Pintel.

Will glared at Jack, as if he knew what Jack was thinking, "Don't even think about it, Jack. Stay away from her. Do understand, me?" His fists clenched and he took a step closer toward Jack.

Elizabeth reached the deck and looked back over her shoulder, "Will? Come on, we need to get to work!"

"Will, you go on an' get to work," Bootstrap interjected quickly, placing himself between Will and Jack. He knew that expression on Jack's face all too well, and it never led to good results. Grabbing Jack's arm, he led the pirate a short distance away. "Don' even try it, Jack," he warned quietly, maintaining his firm grip on the man's arm.

Jack eyed the hand that held his arm, then slowly followed the arm up, to the body, then to the face.
"Don't try it?" Jack said with a confused tone, but with sulky smirk plastered on his face. "Yer not makin' any sense at all mate."
He started to pull his arm away.

"You think I don't know that look?" Bootstrap asked dryly, his own expression somewhere between amused and annoyed- currently leaning more towards annoyed. "Jack, I've known ye almost twenty years now. Yer th' best mate a man could ask for. Almost like th' little brother I never wanted...But, if it ever comes down to choosin' between my best mate an' my son, I trust you know where my loyalties lie."

"Ninny.." Jack stated, his underlined eyes casually going lazy and his neck tilting back in a tired fashion.
"Seems to me that ye, Bootstrap, William, Bill, or Turner- which e'er I call ye- are the one who left poor brave young Turner in the first place, therefore; it leaves a terrible notion for ye to carry, sayin' ye care more for true loyalties - in which by meaning the eunuch- when we both know where yer true loyalties lie..."
He then started pulling his arm away again.

Will looked back to Elizabeth and shouted back, "All right, be right there!" He then continued to listen to the conversation between Jack and Bootstrap to see what the outcome would be.

Meanwhile, Elizabeth nodded and ran up the stairs to the mast.

Bootstrap's grasp on Jack's arm only tightened. "I made my choice then," he said firmly, trying to ignore the small voice that reminded him that Jack was right- he'd already failed his son once. He had placed his friend over his family, and his family had paid dearly for it. His wife was dead, and his son had faced the hardest years of his life alone. Those mistakes were in his past; there was nothing he could do about it. He could, however, choose to not repeat those mistakes. "...An' I'm makin' my choice now. I put up with a lot of things, Jack. But mess with my son, an' you'll wish you hadn't."

With exaggeration, Jack rolled his eyes. He grinned all the more at Bootstrap Bill and replied, "And am I to believe that said pirate would harm said Captain if said Captain was to do somethin' to said pirate's son? And if that's to be said true, said pirate would harm said Captain in, care to mention said way?"
This time, he didn't try to tug away his arm. Instead, Jack let it hang there, dead and unwavering.

"Right," Ragetti said as he helped Pintel tug on a rope. "Do you suppose the kraken will come back?"

"ENOUGH! Stop!" Will intervened. "Both of you! The past does not matter Jack. At least my father is regretful for what he has done, unlike you would ever be, if you ever had a son of your own." He face was stern and serious.

Elizabeth helped steer the mast in the direction they were trying to sail to. She noticed Will, Jack and Bootstrap having some sort of conversation amongst themselves. She did not move from her position, but instead kept her eyes on them.

Bootstrap glanced at Will and reluctantly released Jack's arm. "You've got a good imagination, Jack. I'll let ye figure that one out on yer own," he muttered, abruptly walking off and returning to work.
