Heheh I did...very good ideas
I keep seeing adverts for it on TV, it looks so good. Although I must admit I am somewhat distracted by soaking wet David half way through...

He's soaking wet? Good Lord, get me the third season now!
Anyway....the season finally is on tonight! I can't wait!
Quote: You find British accnts hard to understand! I thought we had one of the easiest. But then again, being English, I'd think that.
Its Rose's accent that I had trouble understanding, though I could understand Mickey and Rose's mom just fine. I find it funny that they pronounce thier 'th' as an 'f'. Instead of thirteen they say firteen. The strange thing is somties when i here the 'f' in a word O think of it as a 'th'. Naw, I havn't been watching too much Doctor Who.

Those are so much fun. You think to yourself "He looks even more good looking than he usually does." Then you look closer and relize its because he's sopping wet. Wow. Just thinking of it makes me smile.

Ha ha ha! I agree with Nauriel! I would be distracted too though....mmm.....a wet David....what is it about men who are soaking wet? I mean, in the BBC version of Pride & Prejudice with the always handsome Colin Firth...when he's wet he just looks so...soooo....mmmmm....okay...completely off topic...ha ha ha ha ha....a wet Doctor....interesting....*is distracted*

It's right at the end, and obstructed by the BBCs stupid swirly redness...but his hair looks nice. Totally only looking at his hair. Uh huh. Hair.

FOR ALL OF YOU WHO HAVN"T SEEN THE SEASON THREE FINALLY, TURN AWAY NOW FOR THERE ARE SPOILERS AHEAD!
I saw the season finaly! It was really really good. When the Doctor cried because he didn't get to tell Rose he loved her........The tears on his face.....I just melted. I never wanted to hug a man so much in my life as I did that moment. I did like how they ended it though. If they had ended it without a bit of humor I would be depressed until next season. It seems like his new companion is a bit of a [s]bit-[/s] strong personality. I hope she doesn't overwhelm the show. I do need my doctor time.
Also, I was thinking. Rose is in that parrallel demension. COuldn't there be another Doctor there?
O wow, I just had another great idea. Rose could meet parralel world Doctor which is in fact the ninth doctor (he never regenerated because he never had to suck the time vortex out of her mouth) and then there could be a really wierd coincidence where the two worlds meet, and so do both doctors and both thier companions. Doctor Ten and Doctor Nine together. That would be so cool

It was small cos its unusual for me, I tend to squee over cars, not boys
For spoilers, if you set the font to size 1, you can't read their post without clicking the quote button on the post.
Like this, see?
Shall we adopt that method for spoilers? Its such a nuicance not being able to have a decent discussion because we might spoil it for others.
v Doomsday spoilers
@Nauriel- *bursts into tears at even briefest mention of Doomsday*I totally agree, when he cried it was the cutest but saddest thing ever. And when he just carries on with business and goes to set the TARDIS as if nothing happened, I just felt so sorry for him, and had to desperatley resist thge urge to tacklehug the TV. Dont worry bout the companion, she's only there for th christmas invasion, then we get Martha, who looks like this- http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/gallery/ ... artha5.jpg ((The actor who plays her was in doomsday for a littgle cameo, you may recognise her)) Concerning parallel dimensions, I was [s]hoping[/s] thinking that Rose could fall throuh the rift, like Captain Jack did, and meet them again, since apparently its spreading, and Rose as a member of Torchwood would most likely be investigting. But maybe I'm just despreate for Rose to come back.
Oh, and did anyone else notice how in series 2, the Doctor and Rose don't even mention Jack once? Do they presume he's dead or just dont want to talk about it?
1 day 7 hours 12 minutes and 42 second till crimbo invasion!!!!!!!!!!
Wow. Long post. But anyways, Merry Crimbo everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah, i thought it was weird that they didn't mention jack especially as he's meant to be coming back in series 3
i also thought it was weird that they didn't mention the time war (or at least i dont remember them doing so) - the ninth doctor never shut up about it, then the 10th doctor seemed to have completely forgotten.
i'm also really annoyed about the doctor's new companion - having another woman completely undermines the relationship between the doctor and rose. it would have been better to have a guy and make them ike a double act. plus, i thought the girl they've got as the new companion died in the last episode, so what's she doing back? confusion!

You're all going to have to tell me how good season three is. I can't wait until it comes on in the US.
In the episode Fear Her, did any of you find it funny when the Doctor tells Rose he's benn a father before? The look on her face is so funny. I was surprised she didn't press him for more information.

They're not supposed to be the same character, just the BBC doing their avourite recycling actors trick. Like the Gwen/ Gwynneth thing, but I think thats for a reason. I did think that maybe he didn't mention Jack because he felt its best to move on, like at the end of doomsday where he just starts up the TARDIS and continues doing his thing. Like dwelling on the past hurts too much, plus, I reckon the Doctor must think he's dead. There's gonna be a major argument apparently when they meet again, because we know what Mr Hyporcrite doctor thinks of resurection from Army of Ghosts, Jackie says something like it being lovley that all the dead are coming back, and the Doctor says its sick.
Do we need these anymre for series 2, I think everyones seen it now.
Nauriel@ Yeah, I did grin, I just couldn't imagine the Doctor "doing it". (Though I bet some of you have tried ) He's a grandfather too I think, if my memory serves me correctly, I haven't seen any of the older episodes, just read about them.

I think it was Patrick Troughton's Dr that had his grandaughter as one of his assistants.
My memory is very fuzzy on it though.
