After the song was over, Linwe hugged Daniel. "I didn't know you could dance like that." She said with a coy smile.
"I learned it from the movie Goblet of Fire." Daniel said with a grin. "Shall we go outside? I heard the gardens are lovely."
"Sure." Linwe said, letting him lead her out to the gardens.

Fencing Maiden just laughed at all the warnings, and climbed yet higher.

Suddenly, the groucho Faun came in, and called in a half-whisper up the tree..."Come down from there! Come down NOW! You knooooow you're acrophobic!!"

"Am not!" she called back down persistently, clinging at the branch.

"You come down now young lady, or I'll get your escort!"

FM wasn't daunted in the least. "He had to leave."

The Faun sighed, and rolled his eyes. This was far too much stress on his dignity. Suddenly, he felt a *plunk!* on his head, and saw a Christmas ornament roll across the floor. A stifled giggle came from the tree. He scowled.

"And why shouldn't we go out there?" Larael said donning her coat and mittens,"Shall we have a snowball fight then?"

"Aye, I didn't want to be caught out there with no ammo. I know how ruthless everybody is, so I wanted to be able to defend myself. there's no mercy out there. you have to for alliances pretty fast" He grinned. "Either that, or have a good hiding place!"



"certainly, that is a very good idea. Is there anybody else around who we can be against, or do we have got get each other cold and wet?"

"It may just be us," Larael said," but, I can spread the word in the WT thread before we begin."

"Are we getting together for a snowball fight?" Idril asked, excitedly, in her warm coat. Remus, behind her with a scarf about his neck, brightened at the prospect of a snowball fight.

"Sounds lovely. If those coughcough rabbits don't get in the way again."

She came out of the tree rather ungracefully, and began eagerly pulling on a hoodie.

I was cured all right.

The empty ball room was almost mysterious and soemhow enchanting. With the fake snow drifting silently, a soft tune eminating from the musician's instruments and faint laughter from the snow-ball fight outside, this last evening was perfect. Ms.Gamgee placed her hand into Caunion's and he led her to the dance floor,thier footsteps echoeing inthe almost silent room, filled up only with thier whispers and the music's low noise.. She looked at him and smiled "this whole ball was amazing, and tonight it all seems almost surreal."

I was cured all right.

"Yes, perfect" she said smiling. The dance seemed to go by slowly. It was slow and felt like a dream,and it was a bit sad, sad for being the last dance. It really had been an unforgetable experience. The two shared a few words between the soft twirls and galant turns of the dance.
Suddenly the music stop and the dance was over.
Ms.Gamgee and Caunion stood alone in the middle of the silent hall, "Maybe I should pick up my coat" Ms.Gamgee said looking by the entrance. "Shall you acompany me?" she asked him with a soft smile.
