Does anyone listen to a group called Nickel Creek I think it only has 3 or 4 people in it and that play the guitar the fiddle and a few other instruments.
A few of their songs are:
The Hand Song
Sweet Afton
House of Tom Bombadil

Ooh, I've heard a few of their songs! My older sister's best friend really likes them. What I heard I really liked; they're kind of folk-music-ish, which I normally don't like, but they did it in such a way that I liked it if that makes sense.

Do I??? Nickel Creek is one of my all-time favorite bands! We already have a topic semi-dedicated to them here: http://www.arwen-undomiel.com/forum/vie ... sc&start=0 but its for Bluegrass in general, so this one can stay open
My friend got my dad and I hooked on Nickel Creek about 2 years ago. I finally saw them live a few months ago, and it was incredible! They're very fun in concert, and play a few suprise covers which are absolutely hilarious. If you like Nickel Creek, you should also check out Chris Thile, who's their mandolin player. He has several solo albums-- but the best is Not All Who Wander Are Lost. Truely one of the best CDs I have. Unfortunately, the band is going their separate directions for awhile (hopefully they'll get back together eventually) but they're all doing solo projects, which is good. I'm excited to see what comes of that!
It's next to impossible for me to pick my favorite songs.... but here's a few:
Reasons Why
Beauty and the Mess
Doubting Thomas
Stumptown
Scotch and Chocolate
Smoothie Song
Speak
When In Rome
Ode to a Butterfly
L-R: Chris Thile (mandolin), Sara Watkins (fiddle/violin), Sean Watkins (acoustic guitar)
Of course, those are their primary instruments, I'm pretty sure they all play multiple.
Genius, I tell you.

OOoh! Yay! Nickel Creek! I love them!
They are such talented musicians and songwriters! I love their lyrics!
Well, It's really hard to pick favorites....but, currently, I'm really enjoying:
When In Rome, The Lighthouse's tale, Out of the Woods.....
So lovely....

Even though i have alot of their diffrent CD's i only really listen to their self titled album. I do like to listen to their music at the end of the day to unwind and when I study. I find it very relaxing.

I think overall my favorite cd is the self-titled one, however there's songs on This Side that I love, and a couple on Why Should The Fire Die.
