I pride myself in the ability to set fire to anything. Proved and tested in Science lessons, where my teacher lets me loose with a Bunsen Burner. School jumpers, chair legs, watches...all of them poof, in flames
And EonwesBestMate, yes. You can have some cake Despite the fact it's been eaten. Whatever. Cake.

Ooo, may I be roughly English and ask if anyone watches 'Tom and Jerry', a 'Night Before Christmas' on Christmas Eve? It's sort of a tradition for us and I was wondering whether anyone else watched it.
Aaaaand, to add a bit of Englishness in to the conversation, I'm currently eating Scotch pancakes, they're English, right?
*Waits for someone to humiliate her and tell her that they're not*

^ you know, you just reminded me - i haven't seen tom and jerry in ages. i say bring them back!
scotch pancakes are scottish, so they are british, but they're not english. a lot of people seem to think 'english' and 'british' are the same thing, but they're really not - england does have an identity separate from that of britain.

I love Tom and Jerry I watch Looney Tunes far too much anyway and find it hilarious...
POTC is on TV this Christmas, and Narnia is too I think. Neither are really festive but I guess it's better than Jurassic Park. Again.

i LOVE the snowman! david bowie lied to me though - on my video he claims to be the little boy, but then in the cartoon the label on the present santa gives the boy says james, so it can't have been bowie. my whole world came crashing down when i realised that!
i saw the snowman on stage when i was about nine and it was awesome. i spent the whole time wishing i could be the little boy so i could fly. one fairly obvious problem there though! lol
and narnia is kinda fesitve - lotsa snow and father christmas makes an appearance. more appropriate for easter though really, given what it's really about.

The only thing I think is annnoying about Tom and Jerry is the music at the beginning. I play the entertainer on my guitar and it's NOT the Tom and Jerry music (at least not in Germany...).
Anyways, Christmas What's your Christmas entertainment gonna look like (as in parties or games or mistletoe and crackers...)
Do you guys like Christmas cake ... ?

Mmm...Christmas Cake...*drool* I love it. But I hate mince pies.
Do drunken family members count as entertainment? Um...me and my cousin play football outside, whatever the weather. Football in snow is so awesome, you end up launching snow at each other instead of a ball. My parents and uncles and aunties and grandparents just sit and talk and cosume alcohol and Christmas dinner Present opening in front of a fire is fun, providing they both stay away from each other

Hmmm... can't really account for any drunken family members around my house for entertainment, however Christmas pudding and cake we do have. If there's snow we go out and have snowball fights or build snowmen, but sadly there hasn't been enough snow these past winters to do any real snow-building.
