Wow a warmblood!! Thats amazing! They are really good dressage horses too. Is it your own horse? I have only had my horse for about 3 months so im still having troubly with the whole dominance problem. She just doesnt care about anything I tell her to do on the ground, and doesnt respect me yet. My friend is helping me with alot of natural horsemenship stuff so hopefully that helps  _________________ <center>

I'm starting to jump, but I really want to steeplechase (racing and jumping all in one for those who did not no.) I know it's dangerus and I don't if my parent will let me, but I still want to do it.

I think there is still time to put her in her place. Yeah. She isnt dangerous or anything she is just really disrespectful, and its gets really agrivating cuz she doesnt pay attention. This usually only happens when I lunge her. When I ride she is fine. I just have to keep her attention cuz she seems to wonder off alot She is still young too, only 5, so I have many years to work on that
^I have never done barrel racing. I would be too scared as well, I wouldnt want to mess up and hurt my horse. My horse wouldnt be able to do it anyways cuz shes not good with tight corners  _________________ <center>

Oh well you might want to wait a while. The person who runs the club can't always find time to get on AU so it might be like a few more days!

My last lesson on my horse was absolutely terrible. We changed to a kimberwick and now he has excellent brakes so he kept stopping in front of the jumps. I'm just getting very frustrated. Like you said hobbit_fan, I need communication aid. _________________

Im sorry about that Linwe. I dont really know your horse, but im guessing hes stubbourn? Does he stop at the jump because he doesnt want to jump, or is he scared? I have one horse at my barn who is terrified of jumps. I guess all I can think of doing is to keep pushing him and maybe use a crop? What did your trainer say about it? _________________ <center>
