The really strange thing is I actually already knew everything PotR about the Brethren... for once I'm actually up on something! Wow... that's what I get for spending hours and hours and hours reading through entire threads on the forum-that-cannot-be-found. And it was a sacrifice. Half the time they're just saying really trashy stuff I really don't want to hear, and then there was tha- nevermind.

Anyway, so, what did Will do? I wish he'd killed Jack. I hate Jack. Jack needs to die. Wait, he already did... Jack needs not to be rescued then. But he will be... oh well, I guess I'll never be happy about Jack.

And Sao Feng I'm also curious about. I knew basically what all PotR said, but I'm still unsure as to most of his role in the story. I only know bits and pieces.


I am beginning to be regarded by my family and friends as the ultimate PotC source, and I just tell them "well, there's this girl I know online who we call pirateoftherings..." But I'll go off into these huge long explanatory speeches and they'll look at me like I'm mad.

ooh! thats neat about the Pirate Lords!! *giggle* thats really cool, so why does Barbossa want Jack's piece of eight(or w/e its called)? Will it give him more power in the council if he has two of them?

He just needs it so he can actually summon this Brethren, which I don't know if Jack is too keen on.

Well, he just wants it so that the Brethren can meet. Like I said, all nine must be present, so Jack's kinda important. Barbossa and Jack remain more or less allies throughout the film, actually, though it's obviously a very strained relationship. Kind of a "my enemy's enemy is my friend" kind of deal.

EDIT: The Ms.G beat me to it Jack's not unkeen (is that a word?) on the idea of the Brethren meeting, I think, but he doesn't seem to care too much about it.

Meldawen, I didn't know that bit about the Calypso either. Thanks for explaining. That's major news to me. I'm not sure if I like it or not. I think that for me it will mainly depend on how they do it....I'll withhold judgement on that for the moment.

Pirateoftherings, Thanks for the tid bits. Well, more than liekly if it's making it possable for Will to do something that he wants to do or that he feels that he has to do that I can sympathize or empathize with then I'll probabley like it and maybe even Sao Feng...I'll have to wait and see. Whoa, you have really got me interrested now. You have made me even more excited about it. Especialy the part about Will doing something....(gets up and dances around)...yay!!!

Um, I think that the way that it works is that if you die you are sent to Davy Jones's locker and are offered a choice (to work for Davy and post pone judgement ofr go on). Least wise I think that that is how it's supposed to work on the PotC movies. As for your second question...I'm not sure that I know the answer. Sorry.
