we never have any drunken antics in our house - i'm tee-total, my sister's too young and my parents don't drink much at all.
our christmas entertainment is mainly watching telly and playing random games like 'rummikub' and 'who's in the bag?'. christmas day feels really empty now we don't go to church on christmas morning anymore (i moved churches a couple of years ago and my new church doesn't have a christmas day service) - there just doesn't seem to be enough to do.

Yeah, I agree, though I do go to the Christmas midnight mass. After opening presents in the morning, there never seems like there's anything else to do. (unless i'm playing around with my new present and/or eating) but I guess I just always try to cherish the fact that I'm home with all my family.

It always seems weird after you've opened your presents...I just don't know what to do, so I kind of wander about.

My aunt n cousins used to live in south Africa but now they moved back. and now one of my cousins now works on the shetalnd islands lol.

ALL my relatives live in Italy, and no, they don't generally send presents, though this year i alreayd got a couple of really pretty clothes from my aunt and cousin.

we don't do family in our house. me, my parents and my sister are really close, but we don't get on very well with most of the extended family (anuts, uncles, grandparents etc) so we never see them at christmas. believe me, it's a relief.
