I'm in the same boat as you. I don't own an Xbox/X360, or the PC version, so I only play it at my friends house. I can still slaughter him a lot of the time, though. We're pretty evenly matched, but he uses a battle rifle and I use a sniper rifle.

I've never played TimeSplitters, or heard of it, for that matter. What's it about?

What weapons are you best with on Halo 2? I find that I'm best with the sniper rifle and energy sword.

I like the Scorpion the best of all the vehicles, because I can blast almost anything before it hits me.

I like swords more than shotguns--they've got the awesome leap attack thing going for them.

I am best with the sniper rifle if there are 4v4 teams, but not a 3 player free for all. I am also good with the shotgun and the energy sword, but I like the sword better.

My personal favorite vehicle is the Banshee, because of the evading in Halo 2, I don't get hit (much) for the smaller fights, but in bigger ones, the Scorpion Tank is the best vehicle to get.

And my personal opinion, while Halo 2 is awsome and the best shooter on the X-Box, Gears of War is the best shooter that they have out today (but when Halo 3 comes, that will soooo be the best shooter! ).

I stink at maneuvering the Banshee--but then, it's not that useful for snipers, so I tend to avoid it.

What's Gears of War about?

It has a better storyline (I think) than Halo 2, seeing as in Halo 2, you just do what you did in Halo 1 once you reach the Delta Halo with quite a few differences, but the same idea.

However, the multiplayer of Gears of War sucks compared to the multiplayer of Halo 2, so they are pretty evenly balanced.

I'll post on the storyline in a bit, but I have to go now.

EDIT: You play as the convict Marcus Fenix. He is released from prison because the COG (the military) needs every soldier to fight. You are fighting the Locus, a horde that came from below the earth on the earth-like world of Sera. You have to find a way to map the Locus tunnels so you can kill them all with a LightMass bomb (basically a nuke without any radiation fallout).

That is all that I'll tell, besides that Epic sets it up for a sequel.

What do you think the best one is (I've only played the X360)?

I'm hoping to have a chance to play Halo 2 again soon, and read Ghosts of Onyx, which I'm going to be ordering online soon. Of course, when it will get here I don't know. I can only hope it will be soon.

I've played the PS3, and I don't like their new controler.

The best one is the one that I personally like the best. Which is the 360. I don't bother about getting into technical battles about the PS3 and 360, because they both have their strong points and their weak points.

But the main reason that I think that the 360 is the best console (besides the controler actually having a vibrator) is their games.

Lol--I love X360 controllers. Another big plus for Xbox/X360 is that they have Halo, Halo 2, and they're going to have Halo 3, while the Playstation ones don't. That alone makes the X360 the best. And they have Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic I & II, and Star Wars: Republic Commando, which Playstation doesn't have either.

So--which map is your favorite on Halo 2, and what campaign level?

My favorite map is Coagulation (I love that map when I have a sniper rifle), and my favorite level is Delta Halo.

I don't know the name of my favorite level, but it is the one where you are on High Charity fighting the Flood and the Covenant are having a Civil War. The main reason I like it is because I love using the Brute Shot bayonett against the Flood.

I like Midships for the Sword/Shotgun combo.

ooo can i join and the new halo out i dont think much of as the last two halo's were much better, because all i would do is go into a full rage attack at the flood and covenant.

What are you talking about, 'the new halo is out'? Unless you are talking about a new Beta version on Halo 3 for testers, I have no idea what you are talking about.
