Well all we know right now is that two main characters are going to be killed off this season and I have a feeling one of them will be Ben, which really sucks because he's such an interesting character.

Yeah, me and my mom read that Juliet (I think that's her name...) shoots someone and it's our opinion that it will be Ben.

Personally, I don't mind if Ben dies...sure, he was interesting, but he was 'evil', so I didn't really like him  Didn't one main character already die, though? Mr. Eko? _________________

Potentially MAJOR spoilers below...
I read somewhere that two people who are special to Sun in different ways are gonna die.  I hope it's not Jin!
Oh, I heard somewhere that Juliet shoots Pickett, or one of the other others (haha...other others...). But this rumor started going around that Juliet was going to shoot Jack. O.O Matthew Fox and the writers commented though and both said that that wasn't going to happen.
The actor for Ben is signed up for the whole season. _________________ <center>

SPOILERS:
Some people are speculating that Sayid is going to get killed because the actor has not been on set for a while.
Jack is not going to be killed off but will not be in a few episodes for reasons unknown at this time.
The first episode is supposed to be a Julliet flashback and it's called "Not in Portland." I also believe she's going to shoot one of the guys after Sawyer and Kate to help them get off the island but I'm not 100% sure.
The final episode is supposed to be a Ben flashback but again I'm not 100% sure.
Ben and Locke might possibly have some more scenes together.

omg i can't wait for it to come back on!! there's so much we are waiting for.
but has anyone else felt that this season just hasn't gone anywhere? it just seems that the only thing going on is people threatining to kill other ppl

hmmm...I like Sayid as well, I hope he doesn't die! and Jin can't die either!! actually, I would like it if no one died, but then there would be no show _________________

I hope none of them die! I heard that Jack was going to...I doubt it though cuz that would just ruin everything. But with the last episode Sawyer was about to die, but I dont think he will either. Ahhh I cant wait for Feb 7th anymore! I need to know what happens!!

I agree, I don't think Saywer or Jack will die (phew!). If they killed Saywer, Kate, or Jack, I think that the show would lose a lot of viewers because (imho), they are the VERY main characters, and most loved characters  I mean, most Lost fans are either Jaters or Skaters, and both of those 'factions' include either Kate, Saywer, or Jack! _________________

The writers already said they WERE NOT killing off Jack. Now this could be a bluff but I highly doubt it.

I would be soo mad if they killed anyone! They might kill someone, but it at least wont be a main character *crosses fingers* I remember the episode when Charlie ALMOST died. I actually thought he was dead and I just sat there thinking to myself how that could have happened and I wasnt going to watch it anymore cuz I was so mad. But then Jack saved him, and I was all happy and relieved  _________________ <center>

Hey guys.
The have only shown 6 episodes of series 3 in the UK, and I haven't seen them yet but my brothers told me all about them.
Ah, I can't bear it if ben dies! *huggles ben* He's my favourite character. [silence] Yeah, I know but I always like the bad guys, and I'm not even sure if he is the bad guy. We could be made to think he his, but it's really Juliet...who I haven't seen but I don't like the sound of her...I don't like these rumours of her having a past with Ben either.... 
Maybe were meant to think the Others are bad, but they can't be the real bad people, as there must be a goverment somewhere, or someone high up in a goverment who can get them all the up to date information on the passengers. I mean, how else could they have Jack's dads' autopsy report form the sheriff's office in Australia? 
*scratches head* I don't know, I mean the Others have had more of their people killed than the survivors, and they do seem to be ordinary people, whereas in the beginning we though it might be supernatural powers and stuff.

Yeah im not really sure if they are bad either. They seem to be just using Jack to give Ben the opporation. I cant wait until everything gets put together, its all so confusing!! Its starting soon!

Well let's look at the evidence......
It's pretty obvious that there is a Big Boss Dude in the real world, who Ben/Henry is obviously terrified of when he mentions him when he's locked in the hatch. Presuming that Ben is telling the truth about his being on the island all his life, the Others probably have as well. I'm also presuming it's not because they felt the need to establish a little community on a desert island, but because it is their job (for whatever reason). Hence, the Losties appearing on the island probably isn't a good thing for them. And as the "Bearded Man" once said "this is our island". I kinda know what he means by that now.
Also, let's look at the dead count.
We are pretty much told that the Others are "Killers". Admittedly, they have killed, but the Losties have killed more Others and have managed to kill more of themselves, than the Others have. I mean, I agree that they should be afraid of the Others, as they have no idea what they want with them, but the "Killers" theory is a bit exaggerated.
Others Have Killed
Scott/Steve - Ethan killed an uimportant Lostie with extreme strength
??? – Killed by Goodwin who claimed he was a bad person
Misc
Charlie – Hung by Ethan and left for dead but survived
Claire – Abducted but escaped and seems none the worse for her kidnapping
Walt – Kidnapped but left the island with Michael, seemingly in good health
Jin, Michael & Sayid - Blown out of the water and Sawyer was shot in the arm
Losties – Kidnapped for unknown reasons and with unknown outcomes
Losties Have Killed
Goodwin – Speared with stake by Ana Lucia who claimed he was going to “kill her”
???? – 2 unknowns killed by Eko when they tried to kidnap him
Ethan – Shot repeatedly by Charlie, who killed someone they could have held for questioning
???? - Shot by Sun when they tried to get the boat
Losties That Killed Other Losties
Libby - Shot by Michael
Ana Lucia – Shot by Michael
Shannon – Shot by Ana Lucia
Losties That Managed to Get Themselves Killed
Boone – Aircraft accident
Artz – Blown up by dynamite
Mr. Eko – Black smoke thing
All I'm saying if I were a Lostie, I'd be more concerned about the other survivors than the Others.
