Alendariel gasped with relief upon seeing the house on the horizon. She galloped over the battle field, and towards the house, fear and panic coursing through her veins. She leapt from Galadelen's back and landed adroitly. She sped into the study of Lord Elrond and threw the doors open. She immediately regretted being so hasty. She saw Eruraina and Lord Elrond deep in conversation.
"I...I'm sorry, m'lord. I shall wait, although my news cannot." she said quickly.

Constince pulled Raelyn into the shadows. "My Lady." She said in a very quiet tone. "I want you to know you have my sword, and if you go I will follow." With that she turned and headed back to the castle her black cloke billowing behind her.

Alendariel backed out of the room, and bumped into something. She whirled around to see the tear-streaked face of Elesana, the servant she had entrusted to watch over her only just turning the corner of the corridor.
"Elesana, dearest, why are you awake?" she lifted the child easily and held her close, gazing into the sweet, innocent young eyes.
"Naneth, the lady said you were going somewhere...that you had to do something...without me. The lady's a liar, I know it. You would never go anywhere without me." she buried her face in her mother's shoulder. She raised her face after a few moments of silence. "Would you, Naneth?"
Alendariel forced a smile. "No, dearest. I would never leave you behind." she stroked Elesana's head as she laid it back down on her shoulder.
"I knew the lady was lying."
Alendariel's heart was torn to lie to her daughter like this. Stabs of guilt pierced her heart as a dagger. She swallowed hard, then sighing, left the door. The news would simply have to wait.
She returned Elesana to bed, and then went in search of Eruraina to share what she had seen.

Lord Elrond was starteled by the bursting into the room but soon recovered and turned back to Lady Eruraina. "my lady, i know my daughter will disobey me and go. i've known all this before it had begun. i had hoped to change it but it seems i cannot. i have tried to convince her not to go...but she has choosen. when and if she returns she will have a rude awakening when she gets back. she chooses to disobey me there for she will recive the conseques." Lord Elrond said calmly looking into Erurainas eyes.


Raelyn was starteld as she was pulled into the shadows after Constance had said what she said she thanked the valar. she started walking to the other side of the garden looking for Gernhart. she needed to apologies and ask him if he would still go.

Eruraina's rage grew inside her, but she kept it hidden, and stayed calm.
"Destroy your daughter's spirit, then. Punish her for helping her people, making it seem like a terrible thing to serve Rivendell in dark time." she said, holding his eyes a few moments longer, before leaving him to think about what she said, also leaving Alendariel to inform Elrond on what she had come to say...

Elrond kept calm he wanted to lash out at this firey maiden but did not. but he did think about what she had said...

Raelyn found Gernhart after about thrity mins of searching. she found him sitting alone on the bank of a stream throwing rocks in. she heard him muttering something but she couldn't make out what he was saying.

*Sarien was looking for Raelyn in the garden. She finally found her about to approach Gernhart, so she thought that she would wait for her. Sarien sat on a nearby rock, and plucked a small white rose and watched the two of them.............*

"Lord Elrond can see you now, my lady." said a servant from up the hall.
"Thank you." Alendariel said, and hurried to find Lord Elrond. "My lord." she said, bowing quickly. "I...I went riding this evening and fell asleep upon my horse." she chose to ommit a few facts as she spoke. "When I awoke, I was in the forests on the borders of Rivendell. As I left the forest, I saw a man garbed in black upon a black mount, one I have seen before. One that Eruraina has seen also in her dreams, and drew an illustration that she shared with me. From what little I remember of this mounted man that I have seen before, he bodes ill for Rivendell." she sighed quietly. "I fear we have even less time than we assumed originally. If you would allow me to organize a party to go to the source of the evil, as suggested by Lady Raelyn, we might do that whilst you protect Rivendell." she explained. "And on account that Lady Raelyn was the one to suggest it, I believe she should come. I realize you fear for her safety, as I fear for my daughter's safety. But Lady Raelyn may prove herself invaluable to this expedition should she be given the opportunity." she paused to allow her words to sink in. "My lord, she is willing to fight for all she loves and for the life she has known. But would it not be better not to have to fear for her? I know I would give anything not to fear for the safety of my daughter, to know in my heart that her safety is assured. But due to the growing threat of Mordor, that is not granted me. Nor is it granted to you. If we do not act, and swiftly, we will lose our daughters, my lord. Lady Raelyn fears this also. Let her fight. Her gender and her status as your daugther should not prohibit her from doing what she knows she must to feel fulfilled." she lowered her voice to a near-whisper. "You fought for those you loved many times, my lord. And you proved yourself an asset. Allow her to do the same."

Constince walked back to her room, this time locking the door behind her. She needed to think about where she was headed and what would probably happen while there. The source of evil ... that will probably mean a great force... an army... orcs, urk-hi, and dark elves She didn't want to think about Dark elves, her father was one ... and he had tried on many occasions to get her to join him. She had run every time, and was managing to elud him ... for now.
She turned her thoughts to what suplys she would need for the comming trip instead. That was a safe enough topic for thought.

Lord Elrond sat in silence for a moment then looked at Alendariel deep in the eyes. "you have a point my lady. i have been a bit harsh with this and my daughter is a lot like me." he smiled. "please. let her know she has my wishes to go." he said then a shadow passed over his face as fear for her safety but he passed it on.


Raelyn sat down beside Gernhart and looked at him. Gernhart kept starring into the water. "gernhart....." Gernhart rasied his hand.. "please Raelyn. don't apologies, i am the one that needs to ask for forgiveness." he looked at her. "please forgive me, i shouldn't have yelled like that." he wraped an arm around her in a loving brotherly embrace. "gernhart i forgive you."
