Unidentified. Unknown. Unrecognizable.

They’ve come to our world without passport or papers, and on making an impact before their departure. We were caught unaware.

What if aliens did invade earth? What if they invaded in such quantities, that they outnumbered us ten to one? What if they brutally slaughtered us, without mercy or pity, and brought our world as we know it to an end? And we, caught unaware, flee like frightened children before the great beast?

The aliens, who are just beginning their tyranny of earth, speak not our language or have any of the natural human tendencies to mercy and humanity. Like intelligent, bloodthirsty animals, they kill and kill... intent on destroying every last human. It’s day four of their madness, and they haven’t let up. Everyday, hundreds of thousands of people are slaughtered. We cannot defend ourselves against their enormous numbers. So we flee.

One small group of people, barricade themselves in the ruins of a college laboratory. Watching the clock tick... it’s only a matter of time till they are found and destroyed. But instinct, and desperation to live drives them to brainstorm, trying to find a way to live. Will they?

Setting: Our time, set in New York.
Aliens: Much larger than a human, with a scaly protective skin covering their being, much like armor. Seemingly can withstand anything. Have also destructive machines they use. Fly in typical UFO’s.
People: Can be anyone you want to be, from a child to the President. Bio, please. You will be in the barricaded group though, cannot play anyone outside.

Appearance: Not overly tall, tanned and normal brown haircut. Brown eyes, wears sort of grungy clothes. A bit too skinny to be handsome, and a goofy smile.
Occupation: College student, was going to major in chemistry and become a Biochemist.
Personality: A persistent do-gooder, honest, smart, and a bit clumsy at times.

Name: Ariel Moore
Appearance: Tall, athletically built, short blonde hair, blue eyes.
Occupation: Struggling artist, never had a real job.
Personality: Snappish and short-tempered, mood swings, and a bit flirtatious.

Name: Bryce
Appearance: Curly brown hair, tall, about 5'7", tannish skin, usually wears rock clothes or a basketball uniform
Occupation: College student, was going to become a basketball player with a musical degree and start a rock band
Personality: Different and shy, quiet yet brave and smart...

[alright, I'll start us off now!! If we have anymore people who want to join, go ahead and say so and I’ll add you.]

Roy wiped his face tentatively, where he had a slight cut from a piece of falling glass. The chem lab was relatively small for one in a university, and was destroyed, with broken glass and spilled chemicals lying everywhere. He shuddered. The lightbulb blinked on and off, mostly staying off. He looked around and saw frightened people, huddling inside the darkened rooming, and waiting for their deaths.

This was a nightmare. It couldn’t be true.

He thought of his family back in Illinois, he wondered if they were dead... what had they done to his little sister. A shudder of horror shook him, and he forced the thought from his mind.

“Jared!” he called anxiously. Finally, he saw one familiar face! Like him, Jared had been going to major in chemistry, and he vaguely remembered him as being the trouble maker of the class.

That was before all this had happened.

[wow, just realized we start out from the lab. sorrry! okay, edited from my previous post)

Lindsay sat up from her previously unconcious state. She sat up, looking around. Scraps of broken glass dug deeper into her skin.
"Hello?" She whispered. Her eyes started to adjust to the darkness. She saw people, some in groups, and some alone.
She stood up instinctively and pulled the glass from her hands. Blood dripped down her fingertips.
She walked cautiously, trying to see if anybody was majorly hurt. She kneeles down, surveying the room. Being a nurse in the local doctor's office, she knew what to do to treat injuries.
She stopped and thought about her own condition. Fear crawled through her, and barriered the now-apparent searing pain of her left shoulder. A four-inch sheet of glass protruded from the front of her arm.
"What happened here..." Lindsay asked herself, eyeing the room. "Can someone help me please?" She begged. She knew what to do, but she couldn't take a chance of pushing it in further by doing it herself.
