Do take into account that CE's doctor had just seen his entire race slaughtered, he's bound to be just a wee bit upset.

Ah, the empty child, that was the first episode I ever watched. I was waiting for the eurovision to start and my nan didn't have sky, so I decided to watch Doctor Who, and got hooked :) Lol Montana, you weren't the only one who laughed and got funny looks. My favourite part is when Rose and the Soctor are discussing Jacks dancing
The Doctor: Don't worry, he's a 51st-century guy. He's just a little more flexible when it comes to... 'dancing'.
Rose: What do you mean?
The Doctor: Well, by his time, you lot are spread over half the galaxy.
Rose: Meaning?
The Doctor: So many species, so little time.
Rose: You mean that's what we do when we get out there? We seek new life and...
The Doctor: Dance.

:P

oh yes *high-fives*

I wanted to buy a couple seasons of Doctor Who for my older sister, as a birthday present [then I can go over to her house and watch them, hahaha!]

Buuut... blech, it's SO hard deciding which two! Suggestions?

I first got hooked on Doctor Who on the first episode of the first season with the ninth Doctor, because my mother is British and remembers watching Doctor Who when she was a kid and told me to watch it. However, she doesn't like the new ones, so she doesn't watch them.

MontanaBohemian, I have to ask, where did you get the Avatar, 'cause I really like that quote.

Kess, I like your banner, is it new or have I just never noticed it?

Ha ha ha...yeah, just a wee bit, I suppose. ;) :P Ha ha ha. Honestly, I don't think I could chose between either of them. :P

Another one of my favourite quotes is from "Father's Day":
PETE : What, a pretty girl like you? If I was going out with you--
ROSE : Stop! Right there!
PETE : I was just saying...
ROSE : I know what you're saying, and we're not going there. At no point are we going anywhere near there. You aren't even aware that there exists. I don't even want to think about there, and believe me, neither do you. There... for you... is like... pfft, It's like the Bermuda Triangle.
PETE : Blimey, you know how to flatter a bloke.

:P

Of the original doctors...I havnen't seen that many, but Tom Baker is probably my favourite. Ha ha ha...that scarf. :P

@The~Doctor, I got it from the LJ DW icons. http://community.livejournal.com/dwicons/ :) It's my favourite quote from "Doomsday." :P As sad as it is...it's my favourite. And I like your banner! It makes me happy!
And I agree, Kess your banner is freakin' awesome! :) Yay!!!

Wow. Jack banner is very loved. And yes, I made it yesterday after finishing the Torchwood books and deciding I liked the quote. Shmexalicious. We have so got to get that added to the dictionary :P

I'm gonna order all these Tom Baker episodes once my huge, scary wire in the blood obsession is over, see what the fuss is all about. And do we have a series 3 date yet?

There are Torchwood books? Now I really wish that I lived near civilization.

I actually don't particuarlly like Tom Baker as The Doctor, but I guess I had my own idea of what the Doctor was like before I watched his episodes based off of DT and CE.

Does anybody know a good place to find Doctor WHo quotes from the tenth doctor? I can't seem to find a good site for that.

Well, I know of a place that has Doctor Who transcripts...from the 2 new series...but you were asking about the 10th Doctor. So, erm, you can bum around there and find something, I'm sure. :P
Here's the link:

Thanks MB! *Remembers questions she wanted ta ask*

Now that I know what a chav is would Rose really be considered one or was Cassandra just exagerating?

Is Rose's accent a cockney accent?

How old are highschool students in Britian? (Some of the kids in the ep. School reunion looked really young)

^ i'd say rose is a little chavvy, but not full-blown chav.

high school is age 11+ (or 13+ if you live in a strange town like mine that runs a different education system).

Uh huh, I've got two of them and I adored them. Both were strangley enough about cannabilism, but I'm not complaining. There's Doctor Who novels too, I own and have read everyone of them. And theres books about the monsters and storybooks for kids and guidebooks as well. (Which I also own. Is it going too far to say I own a sonic screwdriver and my alarm clock has a dalek on top?)

Is high school secondary school? I get confuzzled with all these different systems.

You know, I was at a store the other day...browsing through the books (before I headed to the movie section) and guess what I found? Doctor Who books!! I nearly had a heart attack. I actually let out a little gasp and did a little happy dance. Needless to say, the old lady nearest me gave me a strange look as I greedily picked up the books and looked through them. I nearly bought a whole bunch of them..but I had to restrain myself. :P And then I had another little freak out when I found a whole bunch of old, original Doctor Who DVDs. :P

Oh my god, you HAVE a Sonic Screwdriver?! Holy cow! That's freakin' awesome! Sadly, I can see it now, I would have WAY too much fun with one of those. :P

I suppose high school would be considered secondary school. :P Four years of hell. Oh, can I say that? :P There's elementary school, usually kindergarten through 5th grade. Then middle school is 6th through 8th. Although, there is in some places, junior high school which is 6th through 9th. But high school is generally 9th through 12th. Then it's off to university if you want. And you usually start high school at 14 or 15. Unless you're a super genius like my mom was. :P Sadly, I didn't get any of her smart genes.

ANYWAY...erm Doctor Who...stay on topic...OH! I finally saw "School Reunion" last night. :P Needless to say, K-9 freakin' ROCKED! :P *wanders off*

I feel happy and bummed at the same time. I had a chance to go to Ireland and England with someclass mates during sring break (the trip is organized by the school) I turned it down, sadly enough. Why did I do that? But I have another friend going on the trip, and she loves Doctor Who! One of the teachers does too (My latin teacher is so awesome) and she told my frined that there were stores with Doctor Who stuff, so when my friend goes on the trip she's going to get me a sonic screwdriver! Woo hoo! But WHY DIDN"T I GO! I'M SO THICK! a thickity thick thick-face from thicktown, thickania. And so's my dad! Oh well.....

 You're not missing much Nauriel, England is boring! Ireland is lovley though, I've lived in both and definatley prefered Ireland.
Sonic screwdrivers = Love! I'd kill to own a real one (partly to do that thing with the cash machines in the runaway bride :p ) Or K9. A TARDIS would be even better though. Theres a house across the road to us that's having an extention, and everytime I wake up I always think the blue portaloo is a TARDIS...
