Roy looked up; yes the small attic... it would be crammed, but maybe...

"Start getting the people up there, please!!?" he urgently asked Lindsey, pulling the panel down and also the makeshift rope ladder.

Ariel led the disquieted girl to Roy, her face betraying her own fear. Roy nodded, and Ariel began climbing the ladder with the girl.

Roy looked about the place... a diversion... yes... they needed a diversion.

His eyes rested on the spilt chemicals.

Hannah slowly climbed up the ladder, trying not to look down. She held on tight on the ladder, she felt dizzy and was still trembling hard. She closed her eyes, trying not to think of the horror that was waiting outside.

Bryce and his two helpers found Roy and Hannah. But Keria was no where in sight. Loud noises came from the other end of the building. "Oh God..." Bryce said and then told the lady that helped him to go first. "Just go up the hole with them!" He said, leaning against the wall for support. The noises grew louder. "Hurry!"

Rachel turned, relieved to hear a voice close to her. "Y-yes. I think so." she said. She took a few deep breaths to calm herself down, hearing others talk about climbing into an attic. "Where's the ladder?" she asked the woman next to her.

Keira shook her head. "I have no idea." She heard a loud boom near them as walls where crashes. She screamed and then looked at RAchel. "But we must hurry!"

Lindsay couldn't contain her fear any longer. She helped people up into the attic. "Roy!" She screamed. "We need as many people as possible to help fight them off." Lindsay said. "People who aren't hurt." Lindsay looked at the attic It was creaking. "Oh no. No." She gasped. There were still many people to go up and it was full. "Roy, it's full!"

Bryce looked around and said, "I'll try and distract whatever it is outside while you guys find another place to hide." When someone tried to pursaude him out of it, he shook his head. "Just do it. I'm so messed up now, it's hopeless anyway." And then Bryce heard a loud crash near them. "Hurry!"

Lindsay wanted to argue. "Bryce, you can't do it alone!" She saw his determined look on his face, but she knew she had to help. "I'll hide behind here and try to fight from behind." Lindsay motioned to a large board tilted against the wall. There was enough room for her to stand behind.

Rachel fought down the panic rising inside of her. "Are there any doors near here?" she asked Kiera. "Anyplace we could hide?"

The Commandant had the top half of his body through, and began wildly grabbing at the nearby humans in a mad rush.

Bryce looked at Lindsay gratefully and actually smiled. "Thanks." He muttered and then limped over to a pile of rumble to hide in and wait. He aws across from Lindsay's hiding spot and he grabbed a metal pipe for some sort of weapon. He looked around when he heard screams. He looked over at the whole in the wall and gasped. In that opening was an alien...

Keira looked around and saw a small hidden door that lead to a tornado shelther in the wall. "We can hide here!" She said, quickly opening the door.

Hannah was at the end of the ladder and crawled into the attic. She pressed herself against a wall again and closed her eyes as she heard the alien breaking through the wall. She trembled hard, unable to move or to say anything. "It's over", she finally whispered in fear and desperateness. "It's over. They will find us...they will find us."

Bryce watched as the alien got all the way in. He silently prayed for his sisters' safety and for God's protection. As he finsihed his prayer, his leg began to throb painfully as the torn shirt was blood soaked. "Great..." He muttered.
