no, i don't. :'( next time i have money...

his death was so tragic, and so unfair. the world (or at least the section of the world with good taste in music) still mourns.

oh, and i'm listening to jeff's last goodbye.

I only have a few songs... too broke as well.

He would have been huge... but you have to wonder if his music would still have so much power if he had kept on making it. As it is he left us with (IMHO) the greatest album ever.

It's Hallelujah again...

*Is still all melty*

Lover, You Should've Come Over - Jeff Buckley

"It's never over,
My kingdom for a kiss upon her shoulder
It's never over,
all my riches for her smiles when I slept so soft against her...
It's never over,
All my blood for the sweetness of her laughter...
It's never over,
She's a tear that hangs inside my soul forever..."

interesting idea. personally, i don't think his music would be any less powerful had he lived, but who can say for sure? and yeah, it is quite possibly the greatest album ever - few others even come close.

and i'm listening to hallelujah. just perfect.

It's really something my mother thought up. Think about Elvis, he got old and fat, and that's how you remember him. Then think about John Lennon who died young (er) and in his prime. You remember him completely differently. It's interesting.

Satisfied Mind (Live) - Jeff Buckley
