*Sen held her close, as the room grew warm again. That is what made his power so deadly; it was a secret that even Maleon didn't know. After a few seconds, he heard a noise outside. Maleon had apparently seen through the distraction, and burst through the doors. He had just enough time to point, but his shouts were lost in the wind, as Sen spread his wings and surged through the smoke hole, Deawen held close. He flew over the wall of the keep, and towards the castle, pulling a small metal message capsule out of a pocket. He smiled, as he hurled it down at the castle, punching through the roof and clattering to the ground in the throne room. With that, they were off, back towards the city limits.*

Deawen clamped her eyes shut as they flew from the hall to the desert.
comforted by Sen's hold she relaxed alittle. one thing she wanted was complete but she still felt empty and cold though she felt giddy and wanted to scream but kept quiet.
they landed many miles from the city tucked behind dunes of endless sand. darkness fell and the cresent moon rose Deawen stared at it wondering why she was so attached to it. The fire they had built Flared and sputtered. Deawen turned towards it just as a Dragon made of fire and smoke rose out of the fire. Deawen stood frozen she wanted to move but found she could not. the dragon circled around her asking he how she lost her gift she answered plainly with little expression. he seemed pleased with her answer " then i give it back for no Elsent shall ever be without what sets us apart from our kin in the north. We are not dark creatures as others potray we choose who we are as we all do Deawen, you try to choose who you will be, you are torn by good and evil but to Elsents there is no light or dark only gray for life is bitter sweet...' The Dragons voice was deep as deep as the sea. " what is it that you want Deawen?" the dragon asked Deawen took her time and at last " I want to be good and be loved.." the dragon made a chuckling sound " then be so but you always be hated by some but i know what you speak of.." he said turning towards Sen he turned back to Deawen and roared a defening roar then merged into Deawen she felt faint and sick. then the Dragon flew from her back to the fire with a roar. Deawen stood gasping she felt whole again not cold nor empty she looked at her hands and saw the fading shimmer of flame she laughed and jumped around. clink" the fimilar sound seemed to echo through her Deawen reached into her pocket and pulled out her medallion it was shining and the ruby was clear.
Deawen felt the link between her and Sen reform she ran over to him stopping inches away she smiled leaned towards him and kissed him on the cheek she blushed a deep crimsom

*Sen sat off to the side, oblivious to what was happening between Deawen and the fire. He was thinking of all the losses that Maleon would have to account for. So it was an absolute suprise when Deawen kissed him on the cheek. She blushed as she drew back, and so did Sen for a moment. There was an awkward silence for a time, before Sen broke it with a smile.*
I am happy that you are here, and safe Deawen. I... do not know how I could have dealt with losing you. Maleon has accounted for too many of my friends; I did not wish for him to get to you, too, my Lady Deawen.

Deawen smiled again as she knelt beside him
her smile faded after awhile of silence " Maleon will not stop till he finds us and kills us, But I have faith that we will elude him as you have done. "
she sat for another while in silence gathering thoughts and ideas.
" do you think Maleon will urge the King of Bredena to send assasins after us?" " i hope he waits till we reach civilization I have no sword to fight with and using my gift is not always the best solution..." Deawen said with a sigh she heard a noise over the dune she raised up partialy to see what was coming all she saw was a black shadow racing towards her Deawen smiled this was Aernel along with Flareneth and Bredol trialing behind. Bredol Snorted in greetings As Deawen got up and approached the beasts. On bredol was Deawen's Saddle along with her swords Daggers and knives and a new addition a Helm in shape of a dragon the nose guard the neck and head the wings the cheek guards. It was obviosly made for a woman's slender head. the saddle was a bit diffirent with dragon engravings and the breast collar was a dragon as well. Flareneth was also in full tack but only a dagger with a phoneix on the pommel plated with gold and blood stones was added on.
Deawen rolled out her bedroll next to the fire she laid there watching the stars with Aernel. " where do we head next My lord Sen? "
