Constince's saw Raelyn fall and slid from Shadow Stalker's back to land and block the blow from an oncomming attacker in one fluid movement. Her full attention was now on getting to the fallen princess she had sworn to protect. She swung her sword in a wide arc and brought it down on a would be attacker. A small goblin took advantage of the opening and plunged his dagger deep into her side. Constince gasped and turned to plung her sword through the boddy of the goblin that had attacked her. She pulled the dagger from her side and covered the wound, but she didn't dare stop fighting. She felt blood beginning to seep through her fingers and turned to look back at Raelyn. Satisfied that she was being taken care of she turned back to the battle.

Alendariel shot Raelyn a look. "Fine? You're barely conscious, mellon nin. The battle shall wage whether you fight or not. Now lie still."

Alendariel turned just in time to see Constince stabbed. "Vala bless..." she gasped. She glanced at Gernhart. "Gernhart! Get Constince over here! She can't fight in her condition!"

Orlinos! We need you now! Lady Realyn is hurtt! Rain called out with her mind. She dismounted Fuin, who charged off to help fight, kicking a bighting. Rain sidestepped as a goblin ran past her, and tripped him with her leg, then cut him in the back side, cutting across the spine. She turned in time just fast enouph to block a blow, the pulled a dagger from her sleeve, and cut the goblin in the throught. The group of elves now had fire blocking their rode ahead, and goblins starting to circle them. At that moment a great green dragon flew above them, and Rain howled in triumph. Orlinos picked up four goblins, one in each claw, flew fifty feet in the air, and dropped them, crushing other goblins. He flew down close, arrows bouncing off his strong scales and breathed fire onto the goblins, expertly directing it away from the elves.

Hen, the golden eagle sudenly flew down and pecked out the eyes of the goblin, then flew out of bow range.
"It's good to have many animal companions," Rain said to the group...

Alendariel furrowed her brown with concern as another torrent of blood coursed out of the wound. As the din around her filled her ears, she closed her eyes in concentration.

*Sarien looked up at Orlinos in great relief. She smiled, watching him burn the horrible goblins to a crisp. Sarien and Legolas continued to fight side by side. But she took note of still injured Raelyn and newly injured Constince.*

Please hurry Alendariel, time is running short for Lady Raelyn and you are our only hope. Nesta ah estel. (Heal with hope.) Sarien told her.

Alendariel felt herself grow weary. An invisble force drew the energy from her. Barring her mind and heart, she focused on the task ahead. She bound the wound more tightly.

Raelyn let out a cry as Alendriel tightly bound the wound. Raelyn could hardly stay awake.


Gernhart ran to constince killing a goblin who was about to attack her. "Contince! are you ok?" he saw her wound.

Constince turned and looked back. She felt a preesence that seemed to be draining the power away from Alendariel. She ran (as best she could) in that direction. She took her hand from the wound, then pulled the hood of her cloak up and held out the sides of her cloke(Which was actually much larger than it looked) creating a sort of invisible shield against the pressence, "Finish your task quickly. The shield will last only as long as I have the strenth to hold it in place" She said and closed her eyes as she felt the force of the power pressing against her and the invisible barrier she had created around the fallen princess. She is MINE!! Giver her to me ... Daughter of shadows!!! "No... you will not have her... I know who you are. If you want her you will have to come through me!!!"She said through clenched teeth. She could feel blood trickling dwon her side, but she pushed the pain to the back of her mind and focused on the task at hand.

Gernhart watched contince and tried to aid her as much as possible. he kept fighting praying that she would be ok.

Raelyns eyes fluttered open and closed and she faught for conciousness.

Constince glanced down and saw that progress had been made which was good. She swayed on her feet, but would not let the barrier fall. She glanced over at Gurnhart. Be strong my love ... Be strong. Even her mantal voice sounded weary and weak.

*Sarien fought harder and harder trying to keep the goblins down. Her tunic was completly cover in the black blood from the goblins. Legolas ran out of arrows and was now hacking away any enemies with two his White Knives.*

I think they are thinning, we may finally be out of this gruesome battle. Legolas said to Sarien.

That is good. I pray for Raelyn's and Constince's safety. She responded.

Then there was a scream, an unhuman scream from above, and a black dragon flew into the clearing. Orlinos chared it, but the black dragon was much bigger than the green dragon. As that battle raged on in the sky, and the group of elves faught the goblins, Rain had been seperated from the others, and was now at the edge of the clearing, as the goblins started backing away from her.

Eruraina turned to see a hooded and cloaked man-shapped creature, black blade drawn, walking toward her.
"No!" Rain whispered, recognizing the man from her dreams. "Not possible... it was just a dream... you're just a dream!" she ended screaming, but kept her blade pointed at the creature.
"It is possible, and I've been waiting for so long to fight you, the daughter of the one who killed me... but Morgoroth(sp?) brought me back." a lauph echoed through the clearing. "Now I shall avenge my own death..." with that he lounged at Rain, and she blocked him...

*Sarien noticed that Rain was dueling with not a goblin, but what appeared to be a man covered in shadow. Rain blocked him with great strength but it was not easy for her.*

"What..........What is that thing?" She wondered to herself. Sarien stared in confusion at the thing for a moment longer before turning back to the fight.

Alendariel cursed as the black dragon she had met earlier descended. She felt forces pounding her from all angles, making it nigh impossible for her to concentrate. Clearing her mind, she winced as Raelyn cried out in pain. She placed athelas on the wound and then turned to heal Constince. "Lower your shield." she said. "I have power of my own. It is only weakening you." she assured her. She set up her own shield and bit her lip in deep concern at the amount of blood lost. She grimaced further at the depth at which the dagger was plunged. She placed a numbing spell on Constince as she gently pulled the dagger from the wound. She cursed again as blood poured from it. She bound the wound and waited for it to clot. She shook her head sadly. "Your combative days are over, mellon nin. You will never fully recover from this wound." she said sadly.
