Constince droped the barrier, swaying dangerously on her feet. She began triembaling frome the effort it took to stand. She closed her eyes trying to fight back the shadows that danced at the edges of her vision. She barely heard Aleldriel's words, and once the wound was wrapped she opened her eyes again. Her face was very pale and her eyes were glazed with fevered pain, but she nodded her thanks and stagered toward the fallen princess.

Constince didn't respond, she lay limply in his arms, her glazed eyes staring blankly at the sky, her breathing shallow and labored.

Eruraina grinned when the goblins retreated, yet the man-like creature stayed, and she battled him. He was no Nazgul, and one could tell by the gold brooche with a green jewl like a cat's eyes. She ducked as he swung his sword, and Rain turned to be behind the man-creature, then decapitated him, the body turning to ashes as a scream shattered the sound barier. Rain screamed and dropped her sword, clasping her hand over her ears. When the scream ceased, Rain lay on the bloodstained earth, trembling. The last thing she saw was the black dragon fleeing, and Orlinos, whose wings were badly torn, and his body scraped and bleeding, looking down at her. Rain was glad that the battle was over.

Orlinos put his wing over her, and curled up around her, and didn't allow any of the other near the she-elf, while watching the others recover...

It was as if her mind had been locked behind a wall of thick marble. She didn't hear him nor could she respond. She was so tired.

Gernhart picked contince up again and held her close he rocked her back and forth tears comeing to his eyes. he was severily worried for her.

*Sarien let her fighting arm rest. She sighed realizing that the battle was over. Sarien did a quick exam of her arms and legs, and was satisfied that she only had minor cuts. She saw an unconscience Raelyn, and Constince who looked deathly tired.*

"Tolo (Come) Legolas." Sarien breathed. "Let us go to our friends............" She said sadly, hoping that they were alright.

*Legolas nodded and followed her to where Raelyn, Alendariel, Gernhart, and Constince were.*

"Are...............Are they going to make it?" Sarien questioned to Alendariel.

Alendariel put a hand to her head in exasperation at the wave of new injuries. Her own strength was failing. "Curses, I told her to lower her shield." she sighed. "I hope so." she said in response to Sarien. She glanced at Gernhart. "For her own good, you must never let her fight again. Her wounds have severly damaged the tissue, nigh severed it. She will have a relapse if she strains it. Were I less exhausted, there is a chance that I might have repaired it, but by the time I have rested, the damage will be complete." She waved for someone to bring Raelyn to her. She sat back and sighed. She brought her fingers to Constince's temples and concentrated. Her heart beat was soft and unsteady. "She overspent her powers." Alendariel said, sighing once more. "The glazing of the eyes I cannot yet explain. Gernhart, sit with her for a time. If she does not come to, I shall have to take her back to the home of Lord Elrond. Now, bring me Raelyn and the other wounded. Where is Eruraina?" she demanded.

An orc broght back the danger that stabed Raelyn. he brought it to one of his leaders. "it is done my lord." his master smiled evily.....
"good.."

Gernhart sighed...knowing that contince would argue about not fighting. Raelyns eyes shot open. she awoke and was moaning in pain. she breathed heavly.." ah! is the battle over??...uh..." she looked around at everyone.

Constince's eyes flutteed closed after a while and she sliped into a restless sleep. She awakened sometime after dark and moaned softly as something brushed the still tender wound on her side. She tried to sit up, but didn't have the strength yet to do so. My love ... She thought reaching out to Gernheart's mind weakly.

Gernhart was asleep when he heard Contince's voice in his head. he jerked awake and pulled out his dager fast. he barely awake. then he relized it was contince and his face went hot. he slowly put the dager away. <i> yes darling.....</i>

She grunted in pain as he jerked out his dagger, jarring her body in the process. Hold me ... Gernheart ... I feel so weak. She shivered as the chill of the night settled over her.

Orlinos guarded Eruraina till dark, then he positioned himself between her and the others. He looked at Rain, and grumbled. Blood poored down his arm, and down his claw. The claw, which was held over Rain, directed the blood to drip into Rain's mouth. She stirred, and sat up.
Whats going on? She demanded.
The others are hurtt bad! And weak! Orlinos stated calmly.
And you're hurtt, too
Attend your other friends, but a dragon's blood heals... and strangthens they say, Orlinos stated, a sparkle in his eyes. Rain smiled with an idea. She briskly walked over to her friends, and cringed at seeing the state they were in.
"Mellons nin!" she mumbled. She kneeled by Realyn, and put a hand on the she-elf's forehead. With a shutter, she transfurred some of her energy to Realyn. Dragon's blood heals... the words echoed in her mind.
"Orlinos!" she stated sudenly
