WELL...... *sighs* after absent mindedly posting this poem in the Misc. Randomness section I will post it where I THOUGHT I was posting it before.... lol *needs more sleep*
Well, I don't usually write free verse but that is just how this one turned out. Hope you all like it.
Something,
Nothing,
One thing,
Everything.
A kaleidoscope of good and evil,
That spirals down the banks of the rivers.
It turns the waters to blood,
And none escape it's claws.
Death,
Life,
Barely living,
Barely dead.
A haunting image of love and hate,
A bleeding image of sorrow cold.
But on it's tongue are words so cruel,
As it bends down and whispers, "I love You."

Whoa... I like that. I don't know what to say about it, though. It's one of those poems that leaves you speechless.

I completely agree with The Nightingale.....It's beautiful but morbid.....it's amazing!

Thanks.
Yeah it is in a way. Basically it kind of depicts how although love can so often be seeen in such a light manner it's not a small ishue at all. And love can often be a horible thing. It's kind of hard to explain... lol

Great, Jax!! Yes, it is dark and somewhat morbid, but good. Well done.
