I'm sure you could. I never though I could raise any money, but I did. I guess if you believe in the cause, you can do alot.

Agree on that ! I once tried to save the Wild mustangs. CBS had a story on them and it told how the law that was protecting them, the Freeroaming Horse and Burro Act, would be revised by how many horses you could buy at a Bearue of Land Mangment's(BLM) auction, from a certain number to none and most of them went to the slaughter house. After hearing that, I started doing research and a petition. I had about 35 names.
Then I found out the BML began to regret the new change when they found out some mustangs went to a slaughter house and who were purchased by a guy who said he needed some for a church youth camp, but turned around and sold them to slaughter.
A similar thing happened with some Indians. They gave a certain group 110 mustangs and had them promise and even sign a paper they weren't going to sell them for meat...
They broke the promise and 85 mustangs were killed.

One Word: Money, plus the Govener of Montana thought they were a nusicance.
When ppl / horselovers heard about, they wrote letters and petitions to the BML and horse groups began going to auctions and saving them, including one from Canada!

Lemme in, lemme in! *battles way through* I love horses, they're so beautiful! I don't know what my favourite breeds are, I actually have very little knowledge of breeds and such ... But I love the horse that Melu put up, I think possible that type is my favourite. But anyway, I'll hopefully be starting riding classes in a few weeks, after my dad gets a job, I'm so excited!! :D:D It's been my dream to ride a horse since I was little... so yeah I love horses
