Bear with me... this is rather complex. If anyone has read the Abhorsen series by Garth Nix, I'm basing this off of that.

The land of Ancelstierre is a world much like our own. They use modern devices, drive motorized vehicles, and use telephones, as well as many other devices that we use. But they always fear the wind from the North, the wind that blows out of the Old Kingdom, for it shuts down these devices.
The Old Kingdom is a land of magic. There are two kinds of magic, Charter Magic and Free Magic. The Charter is an infinite amount of little marks, marks that can do anything the weilder wishes them to do. But Free Magic is associated with necromancers, those who raise the Dead. The Dead are, as their name suggests, dead bodies with spirits inside of them. Their only goal is to serve the necromancer who raises them and find Life to make them stronger. However, there is one who can put them to rest again. This is the Abhorsen. He or she uses a set of seven bells, each with their own name and power. Ranna brings sleep. Mosrael brings a dead spirit into Life while throwing the weilder farther into Death. Kibeth makes a being walk where the weilder chooses. Dyrim can take away or give speech to a being. Belgaer does the same, only with thoughts. Saraneth binds the listener to the weilder's will. And Astarael sends all who hears it far into Death.
Now, there is a new Free Magic power rising. Twice now it has been defeated and bound, but it has come back into being. In order to bind it again, Seven of the Blood must get together and bind it.

The Blood
These are people of one of the following groups:
Abhorsen- The person who lays the Dead to rest.
Royal- Those of Royal blood.
Clayr- The Clayr live in the north and can See into the Future. They have blond hair, tan skin, and light blue or green eyes.
Wallmaker- The Wallmakers built the wall that separates the Old Kingdom and Ancelstierre.

I will be taking the only Abhorsen spot, as it is the most confusing.
And by all means PM me with questions, as I'm sure there will be a lot.

Open Spots-
2 of the blood. I don't care which one anymore.
Any OC's (e.g., any random Charter magic weilders. They may assist in everything leading up to the final battle.)

Taken Spots-
Abhorsen- Miniya- SwedishMose
Random Dead- Moose
Royal- (?)-Raven Sparrow
Royal- Curida -Gerardluver
Clayr- Amoniel
Clayr- Elenya
Wallmaker- Ordal- Aerandir

My Bio:

This looks really interesting. Can I be a Royal? I'll have to get these books from the library, I haven't read them, so you'll have to bear with me a little :) Awesome idea!

Are there any particulars about the Wallbuilders? They sound intriguing.

They're sort of mysterious. They disappeared for a long time ( I won't give away how they come back ) but they are very good at building things with magic.

Are they short, Dwarvish sort of creatures, or are they more Elvish, or are they like giants?

Hmmm..very interesting. I think I have one of these books, but I haven't actually read it yet. Is it alright if I save a spot as a Royal?

:P to be more specific, they are small symbols. judging by the book cover, they are either squares or circles with different patterns of dots, triangles, and lines inside of them.
