*The night was silent, and the soldiers were on edge. The sentries of Osgiliath scanned the waters for any sign of the enemy. Without warning, one turned to shout something, when he was pitched down the stairs, and fell to the ground, an arrow in his back. The captain ran over, and looked out across the waters. A shout came from above; one of the sentries.*
Orcs! The forces of Mordor are here! To arms, Men of Gondor!
*The captain saw uncountable landing craft churning up the waters, each filled to the brim with orcs and goblins of Mordor. He was just about to shout an order, when a screech drowned out his words. Three Nazgul circled overhead, and one dived, ripping three men off the walls and tossing them to the ground. The captain was only stunned for a second, and then he shouted out an order.*
Do not fall back! We must defend these shores, no matter the enemy. Remember this; we are men of Gondor! We will not let the White City fall! Attack!
*He shouted, as the first landing ramp fell.*

(Impressive Introduction My lord Sen! now my turn)
Deawen Elsent age 21
Appearence Copper hair azure eyes very pale skin. dresses in black most of the time.
History now why would you need to know that? all in good time.

Deawen stood on a rampant over looking the city an Orc spotted her and knock an arrow to his bow but he looked up she was gone in a blink of an eye.
the clap of horse hooves echoed through the ruined streets of the city. the horses nostrils flared puffs of hot Air in the bitter cold, the stallion was a Chestnut with flaxen Mane and tail. his rider was not as impressive as him but they made a good pair. this was none other than Deawen a mercenary or assasin depending on how you look at her. she loved to ride hard into battle the thrill of danger and death. the smell of blood made the stallion arch his neck and ride faster he snorted as Deawen reined him in he made a bellowing sound as Deawen let go of the reins He charged straight to the heart of battle Deawen drew her sword and slashed at an orc. turned Bredol into a circle and hacked again and again. the stallion kicked and bit anything and anyone that got too close. Deawen quickly scanned the area " where is he?" she asked herself.

Deawen fought in intricant manuvers keeping the river on her right side at all times. Deawen found an opening in the overgoing ranks of the orcs she charged through it standing up in the saddle she pulled back on the reins the stallion stopped short Deawen vaulted off the saddle horn into the battle. Deawen landed on an orc slicing off it's arm Deawen then warded off attacks from both sides. an image caught her eye she turned to look but had to keep her focus on the orc she battled. it couldn't have been a woman she saw? no she thought to her self it's couldnt.

A black horse with a sturdy neck, thick legs, and feathered hooves galloped into the battle. The rider, a young redhead maiden with pointed ears had her Rohirrim sword drawn, and cut back the orcs and goblins. She stabbed one in the gut, then swung her sword around to bring it down on the base of the neck of another. At the corner of her eye she saw Deawen. When there was a moment of pause in the battle, the rider saw a woman in the orc ranks. Her attention was turned away from the woman, and back to the battle...

Deawen whirled and spun on her heels slashing and stabing all the moved. Deawen suddenly realised she was next to the woman she saw earlier (that would be Senqwa ) Deawen stopped short in her fighting it was indeed dark times if others like her were fighting. Deawen knew she marched with Mordor she circled her target several times deciding on the choice to make.

Senqwa looked at the woman standing in front of her. Senqwa's mind was not foucused on the battle, it was foucused on being captured by the men and then she would be safe. she didn't pull her sword up to protect myself she simply stood there

Deawen debated with her self she never liked taking prisoners but she had never killed a woman before. Deawen continued to circle her sword hand twitched as she went two orcs tried to double team her But she turned on them and made a hissing sound the orcs stopped then turned to a new victim. THis was no easy choice Deawen looked panicked in a stained voice she spoke to the woman " I don't know who's side your on I would like to know otherwise I can kill you here and now without regret "

Deawen's gaze nor bearing softened she stood there calculating " follow me " she ordered as she went her stallion followed and soldiers from both sides parted like water. For Deawen sent out a presence of dominate control and leadership something the the Armies of Mordor understood but the soldiers of Gondor feared. the men of gondor and Rohan alike felt it unatural for a woman to be so comanding so wild...it was indeed unatural. she did as she pleased she did not let any man rule her except one and only one...
Deawen did not know what to do with the woman Deawen was simply buying time. time that was wasting away time for battle time to reach fate but Deawen laid down her fate to help this girl for what, intergrity? no it was deeper than that she concluded.

(Alright, as you asked, I'm here!)
Name: Morwen
Appearance: about 5'3", blonde.
Background: Rohirric, former captain, coping with copious amounts of baggage.

Morwen rode across the black landscape, listening to the wind whisle through the rocky crags and the gentle pouding of Breda's hooves.

Everything was changing so fast. Her lofty position gone; her house, belongings, livestock, and considerable wealth, gone; her land, spoiled by the hordes of orcs and wild men. Her love, bound to his military service. She had nothing left to lose. Now, the only thing she could do was search out Deawen. If Aelfred's* intelligence report held true, she was in Osgiliath. That was where she was headed now.

The wind was chilly, blown from the backs of the Misty Mountians. She tightened he gloves and continued over the hills into the remnants of Gondor.

Eruraina kept fight easily against the orcs, beside the men of Gondor. The elf maiden took a moment to look for the woman in the ranks of orcs after there was a time when one wave ended. She saw that Deawen had taken her, saved her, so the elf went back to fight...

(quel re mellon nin Morwen shieldmaiden we are most honored to have the creator of Dungeons of gondor.... :-D Now if My Lord Sen would be so kind to show up for once on time...)
an icy wind blew from across the river Deawen shuddered she turned as appoarching orcs came behind her she wheeled around on her heels slicing ones throat the other stabbed in the shoulder with a small dagger Deawen produced from under her heavy cloak she smiled a mockery of evil her countance showed delight as the wound was small but deadly for a poisoned blade. the orc suddenly froze and fell back, Deawen looked at the battle before her the gondorians were being driven back to the outerwalls. Deawen turned to the Girl " if you want to live you better flee with the gondorians Fly little birds!" she shouted the last part as she put her foot into the stirrup and hoisted herself onto her great stallion. Deawen did not glance back to the girl as she charged off to the battle cutting down orcs as she went.
all seemed hopeless for the city there was not enough reinforcements to hold the river. But none the less Deawen rode up and down the river bank slaying hacking slashing and suffering wounds on her side and arms. But she was relentless as if she waited for something or someone. Deawen charged at an orc her cloak flared behind her giving the impression she had wings of sable death her sword a flash of silver her mount of flame! Deawen pulled sharp on the reins the stallion stopped skidded across the stones, Deawen was surrounded trapped between intersecting roads Her mount snorted and reared showing he was not afraid. Deawen's face was placid as porcilien she was not afriad of Death not now why should she be?

*Without warning, a clear trumpet note rang out, heard over the sounds of battle. It was joined by others, until the whole of Osgiliath resounded with its sound. Even then, one voice raised above the sound...*
Storm, strike them down until none remain! For the fallen!
*Gondorian soldiers began to move out of the way, as a massive shield wall appeared at the outer reaches of Osgiliath, and it was moving at great speed towards the orcs. Behind it was a force of over five hundred, all in brilliant blue armor. The front row carried the shields, hooked together with little spars, and the row behind held lances through small gaps. The orcs formed up as well as they could, but it was too late, as the shield wall crashed into them. The shields were immediately dropped, crushing the first few orcs in their path, as the warriors carried forward with a furious charge. Amidst the blue, in stark contrast, was a suit of black, with a golden phoenix figured on the helmet. Everywhere it went, orcs fell, as the Storm arrived at last, to aid the beleagured Gondorian forces.*

Rule # one Sen Is always right except when Deawen is right....rule # two if Sen or Deawen is wrong please revert back to rule #one....

Deawen Answered the call with one horn it was dim far off but she Knew who would hear it the clearest. Deawen noticed the orcs fled or more of ran off to see what caused the commotion Deawen was no longer noticed. Deawen turned her horse to the north west streets and cantered down them cuting down orcs as she came upon them. After many hours of battle the gondorains and WIth the Aid of the Storm the western side of Osgiliath was cleared. as she past soldiers they asked who or what had come but Deawen didn't even glance at them her stallion was now in a Trot pancing down the streets in a victorious dance. Deawen rode out of the city past many small divisions of the Storm each time she past one she nodded her head in regonigtion and greeting. From somewhere she Produced a Standard of a silver Dragon in a black abyss. the shaft rested on her foot she carried it with pride and dignity. She rode to the main Host in a prancing manner. she felt a tension rise between her and the storm but she was greeted warmly but in such a way as if to say " what is she doing here?" Deawen dismissed formalities she turned to a retainer " where is your lord Sen?" she asked, the Retainer plolitely led her to a Tent slightly larger than the others Deawen dismounted and bowed to the Retainer. Deawen went inside still dressed for battle still wounded and still battle stained.

Morwen crossed a series of small streams before slowing Breda from a trot. She had made good time last night. She could just see the outline of the stone city against its backdrop of mountains. Deciding to come to the city as a refugee, she dismounted and changed into civilian garb. Surely, no one would notice her overdress was of fine wool, her underdress of very fine flax. She stored away her captain's armor and walked Breda the rest of the way to the city.
