Sorry for the double post, but I've just seen the first three epsiodes of series 3.
I really like the episode with the Others but apart from the few scenes with Others, the second and third episodes were pretty boring although one scene did offer and insight into the Others.
The main argument I have with my brother is about the Others - I don't think their bad, he does. I try to say, that there is obviously a Big Boss man in the real world, who tells the Others what to do, so although what they do could be deemed as bad (which admittedly they have done bad things, but the reason may be good) they themselves are probably just doing their job.
Another thing we argue about is Ben and Juliet. He told me all about the water scene with Ben, Juliet and Jack and he thinks Juliet was really angry at Ben and the whole thing was unexpected. However, I've read that is was "staged" for Jack, so he could learn to trust Juliet.
I believe, that it was staged. If it was so dangerous and could really "kill them all", a) Juliet wasn't very quick to run after Ben when he shut the door on her (nor did she seem angry at all) and b) she was very quick to get Jack to help her shut a door...which she suggested should be closed....and then tell Jack to press a certain button which drained all the water. Surely, if it was going to kill whoever let the water flood out....that would seem to suggest there would be no escape at all?
Another thing about the Others was Colleen and Sun on the boat. She didn't seem threatning at all to me, she seemed to be wearing a dress of some sort, and didn't seem to have a weapon. The Others only shot at someone when they knew one of their own had been injured - I don't think the Other members knew it was Sun on the boat.
So really, my opinion of the Others stands.....but I think Juliet is going to betray Ben to get what she wants.

Argh, she bugs me!! Ok I'm not going to rant about it any more.
Although I was so excited today because Michael Emerson was on the Daily 10, which is kind of an American entertainment news program. It was a suprise to me and he was totally hot  . _________________ "There's an ocean between.....where I am and where I want to be"

Anyway, Yunjin Kim (is that her name?) who plays Sun, was on the View this morning (a talkshow), and I was so excited!  They were talking about how Sun's pregnant - I had almost forgotten!  _________________

You should browse around it, they have tons of news, videos, pics, etc on there.

Banana_Republic and Johnny's fan, Thanks for posting those pictures of Michael. Um, personaly I don't think that he's all that good looking. No offence meant though and you're more than welcome to your opinion. He's just not My cup of tea. So please don't like totally get me, please. As far as looks go maybe Dom is my favortie so far in the looks department of Lost. However I really want to watch tonight's show (to get a better look at the cast) before I make a final descision on that. Another words I may change my mind by tomorrow. lol
Okay, everybody seems totally hyped up (as they should be. lol) about tonight. Okay, warning stupid question coming but do think it is best to view it in the dark or in the daylight....(laughs)...I know that I'm a totally scaredy cat...sorry.  It's just I'm really new to this whole prime time thing (the only prime time shows I've ever actually watched all the way through was the Amazing Race and American Idol ) and am not sure what to expect...
Allright anyway, is anybody here like going to dvr or record it, or have a few friends over and some snack food to watch it tonight? OH MY GOD!
I haven't posted here for a while.
Obviously, I'm freakin' psyched for tonight. It's been FOREVER! Good lord. I kind of don't remember much from last year....(by last year, I mean last fall... ) Ha ha ha! But I do, actually. Ha ha ha. The one thing I really want to see...is not a thing...it's a he...and he is Dom/Charlie. Man, I was so depressed that he was hardly in the first few episodes!
@DD: You know, the first episode of this Season...I missed and had a friend record it for me. And when I watched it at home...it was rather late...and dark...and I was a bit paranoid. But, I'm not usually like that. I'm just so into it...I could care less what's going on in the dark behind me. Ha ha ha!
But, last year...Sida and I would always watch it together. It was quite the event every Wednesday. Ha ha ha! Lots of screaming involved. Sadly, she has to work on Wednesday evenings...so, that no longer works. Ha ha ha! Oh well. NOTHING, however gets in the way of my Lost viewing experience. (With this season's premiere as the exception...I think the Rolling Stones are a good excuse... ) But I do make sure I have snacks...or at least something to hold....sometimes a pillow to stifle my screaming. Although, this season ... so far ... hasn't been as scream-worthy as last season.  Ha ha ha!

I've just had a Micheal/Ben overload.....actually you can't have enough of that man!! I haven't seent the video and audio links so I must just have missed them. I'm now on an avatar making spree. I think I'll start a club for Ben/Michael as we seem to be invading this thread. 
@ DD - Hah, don't worry dude, your entitled to your opinion and I respect that. But be warned - I will defend Ben to the last so if I do start defending him just ignore me, I'm [s]slightly[/s] besotted. 
I watch Lost with the light on. *shrugs* I don't feel the need to watch it with the light off. I've only recently turned into a rabid LOST fan because Ben's in it more. Up until then I've been threatening to stop watching it, as the stupid story lines and annoying characters were really getting to me - but there is the catch of LOST, you always keep watching to find out what happens.
Oh, and whoever sees it first could you post a resume of what happened? I don't mind knowing even though it doesn't start 'till Sunday in the Uk. Thanks!  _________________

Ha ha ha...you know, Ben kind of bothered me at first. But...now...you know, that he's rather...*cough*...vulnerable...at the moment, I've kind of grown to like him. I definately am not a big fan of Juliet or whatever her name is. Ha ha ha...she just kind of bothers me. Maybe this is just me being angry because there's been no freakin' Charlie. Ha ha ha.

Even if you don't like Ben you have to hand it to him - he allowed himself to be brutally tortured and beaten up (he must have known it would happen eventually) and the guy had a deadly tumour on his spine.  That is dedication to his cause, job whatever.
I really want an episode leading up to Ben going to "get captured" by the Losties and what happened when he finally got back home.
Ack, Juliet.  She wants something, and she wants it no matter who she has to kill, betray or befriend.
Even a few lines, detailing the basic plot would be good. _________________
