Constince slid dwon from his mount and then wistled for Shadow Stalker. The black stalion happily trotted over to her and nuzzled her knowing that she was happier then she had been in a very long time. She mounted up and looked at Raelyn, "We are ready when you are princess."

Constince pulled the hood of hr cloak up so that Gernheart wouldn't see the hurt look that crossed her face. She brushed away a tear that ran down her cheek.

Gernhart knew that something was wrong with continces. it was like their hearts were now linked forever. he looked at her hoping to catch her gaze. when she didn't look back Gernhart rode up next to Raelyn and spoke to her through his mind.

Raelyn jerked her wrist away and rode off ahead of everyone else bursting into tears.

When Gernheart rode up next to Raelyn Constince turned Shadow Stalker and headed into the woods on the side of the road, she knew no one had seen her, and that was how she wanted it. She imedatly blended in with the deep shadows there. She stopped and slid from Shadow Stalker's back, then wrapper her arms around the great beast's neck as her shoulders shook with silent sobbs.

*Sarien watched the scenes of sadness play out. She sighed not knowing what to do. Sarien wondered why both Raelyn and Constince began to weep. Legolas was already on Arod again, and Sarien decided to mount also.*

"Should we wait?" She asked Legolas.

He nodded and said: "Let them have their time to think, I am sure they can work it all out."

*He kissed her lightly on the cheek, and they started to ride in Raelyn's direction...............*

Alendariel nodded in response to Eruraina's report. "We are severely outnumbered. We should have brought a larger party." she said regretfully. "At any rate, we are what we are. We shall have to take a side route. I shall go and inform the others. If you could fly over ahead and give us directions, it would be greatly appreciated." Alendariel said, turning Galadelen about. She galloped him back to the others.
"Fifty to one hundred orcs ahead. We shall have to ride through the forest and abandon the trail."

Constince straightened and dried her face. She looked at Shadow Stalker and wispered, "Thank you my friend." He wickered softly in return and she mounted again and rejoined the group.

Constince looked over at Alendariel. "Of course." She said and quickly dried her face.

Raelyn had stoped at the eage of the road and tied her horse to a tree. she was throwing rocks into a small pond. she wiped her eyes and nose every few secs. she head the hoof beats of a horse ahead and saw it was legolas and serian. she glanced at them then back at the pond.


Gernhart was about to go get Raelyn when he saw Legolas and Serian go. he sighed and regreted telling her the way he did.

"Raelyn?" Sarien said in a calm voice. "What is the matter mellon nin?" She questioned.

I fear that the shock of that news has placed a horrible strain on my relationship with Lady Raelyn." She frouned and looked at the ground. "You see I was hired to protect her, but I can't do that if she won't at least coperate with me. She feels like I am stealing her best friend, but that not what I wanted to happen." She angrely brushed away another tear.
