Lucy did not respond to her father but simply sighed. She knew he would probably say something like that.
Hearing commotion and rambling voices, Lucy's eyes looked nervously at the doctors below. "What's going on?" she asked her parents with her eyes still glued to the glass window.
Seeing Edward's eyes shoot open, she began knocking on the glass window, "EDWARD! I'M HERE! UP HERE! EDWARD!"
Seeing the nurse stick a large needle into his neck violently, Lucy gasped and felt her stomach drop to her knees, "Oh my gosh! Daddy! Mommy! They're hurting him! They're hurting him!" Sadness and anger rose within her, "STOP IT! STOP IT! YOU'RE HURTING HIM!" she shouted at the doctors below.
This needed to stop now. She would do anything to save her friend.

Katherine watched the doctors frantically put Edward back under and then looked back to Lucy. "They aren't hurting him, Lucy... they were just trying to get him back to sleep. He isn't supposed to be awake during an operation." She said as calmly as she could to her little girl.

A Police Officer approached Timothy and Katherine, "Get out of here now. You are a distraction to the experiment below! You must leave this facility at once!"
Timothy raised a sudden eyebrow and shouted, "What the-? When did this become an experiment!"
"Hey, don't get dumb with me man..get the heck out of here before I have to arrest you infront of your kid!" the bold officer replied pointing a nasty finger in Lucy's face.
