Oh goodness. SUCH a brilliant episode!
Charlie and Hurley and Desmond! My men of the island! Ha ha ha! Loved them all singing around the campfire! XD
Very brilliant episode! Very unique! And ... wow. The man who plays Desmond is FINE! (Especially when clean shaven!!!) Ha ha ha! And Dom...clean shaven! WOW!!
The whole time, he was in London, I kept thinking I saw the bloody TARDIS! Ha ha ha! I'm so silly!
And the end.
*dies*
I was almost in tears. CHARLIE!!! MY MAN! MY drug addict! And Desmond working SO hard to save him! *sigh* What a man! CHARLIE!!

LOTRFreak13, Yeah, that kind of did turn into a long explanation. Somehow whenever I try to write something like that it turns out long and confussing. Sorry about that and I hope that it did at least make a little bit of sense.
Sawyer got hit by a car door opened by Jack's dad? Did that terribley hurt him? (stupid question I know but I just had to ask.) Goodness it seems to me like these island people sure do tend to get hurt alot... lol. Oh, well I like drama.
Yep, 10:00 for the new episode and they have been replaying the week before's episode at 9:00. Least wise that's how they're playng it where I live.
MontanaBohemian, That's the exact word I used to describe it, brillant...it, really was wasn't it?
I agree about the letting them all three sing. You know most of the time on tv shows they don't have anybody singing. So I was kind of surprised that they let them do that. However I must agree that it was a nice surprise.
To me Des looks alot like Gary Oldman (no offence meant) and it started to annoy me. I see him and I want to say Siris... Though I do like Des and the actor plays him pretty good from what I've seen...it's going to take me awhile to get used to what he looks like. Am I the only one here who thinks that he looks a bit like Gary Oldman? Then as for Dom...he looks worlds better clean shaven...actually he looked kind of cute... .
Oh, I know what you mean! When it was the ending I literaly jumped up off of my bed and was yelling at my tv "NO. Not my Charlie! You can't let anything bad happen to my Charlie, Des." Needless to say that then my younger sister and younger brother gave me some odd looks. I just couldn't stop myself.
Didn't you just love it when our drug addict pointed Des out and said that that was why we didn't do drugs? I absolutely rolled on the floor laughing. I think that that was one of the best tv shows lines that I have ever heard before. Do you think that that was ad lib on Dom's part? I was just curious. To me it seemed allmost too funny for the writters to want to have put it into the midst of the drama. However I guess whether it be the writters or Dom...that line was spot on and I give two thumbs way up!

Thanks for the info DD. Wow, so it looks like something may happen to Charlie in the future? Well, now that he knows about it, and as we have been given a heads-up, I'm sure nothing will happen to him. As I said before, a lot of people started watching LOST for Dominic Monaghan, so killing off Charlie is a b-a-d move.
@ LOTRFreak - Hah, I forgot that one! I actually think Ana Lucia was in the car with Jack's dad when that happened, so there's another connection
@ Monty - Aww...you sounded like you had a ball with that episode. Desmond is one of the hansomest men on the island...especially when he is clean shaven.
@ DD - Naw, he just got a car door in the stomach....he was fine...a "bit" angry though. I can't actually say that Desmond looks like Gary Oldman really....I'll have to have a proper look though. DD have you seen all the series? My memory is bad, but because you've been really wanting to see Charlie has given me the impression your new to LOST? Am I right it wrong?

Johnny's fan, You're more than welcome. Oh, that's what I am so afraid of. I just can't stand the thought of something happening to Charlie. Yeah, you made great points though. So I'll go with you and say that I think that they won't actually let anything happen to him either. (sigh of releif)
Oh, okay. (laughs) Yeah, I bet Sawyer flew off the handle knowing him. He's such a hot head not to mention just plain hot. Well, I'm glad that nothing terrible happened to my Sawyer. If it did then I would have had a few words for Jack's dear old dad. lol
Okay. Well, maybe it's just me then. See not only does it stick out to me that I think that he looks like Gary Oldman but...Des is actually a nickname of mine that some of my friends and my boy friend have for me. So you know...it's going to take me some time for me to just get used to Des. I really like him though.
Yes, I am brand new to Lost. I watched my first episode last week. I have read up on bits and peices but sometimes am still in the dark about what is going on. I think that I've become addicted to it now though. Sometime I really am going to have to look into renting season 1 and 2 of Lost. Next time I and my family rent something I'll have to see if my rental store has a copy of Lost season 1 and 2. Sounds like 1 and 2 were totally great as well.

Well don't take my word for everything I say, because I reall;y don't know, but I read a lot of interviews and I've seen some question and answer shows, so I'm pretty confident at the moment that there are a few characters who aren't going anywhere.
Lol, he certainly did fly off the handle, and it's really that temper and sarcasm that's got Pickett against him. I actually feel sorry for Pickett [silence]...yeah I know, but he's just lost his wife and he's angry as well as upset....if Sawyer hadn't annoyed him so much, I don't think he'd have gone round beating him up. Under the circumstances, it would have been better if Sawyer hadn't got the Others' backs up.
I would recomment Lost Media.com. They have episode summaries for them all, and they are really detailed and easy to read. It wouldn't probably take you that long to go through them, and it might help to fill some missing gaps for you.

I thought that the episode was very confussing!! gosh i forgot how hot desmond is anyways who was that lady in that old pawn shop? was he just imagning that? and i dont get what he meant at the end when he knew that lighting was going to hit he said that charlie died and that he saved him from dying in the ocean..and he wasnt saving claire..so im really confused. because that lady in the pawn shop said that she didnt want to save that guy who died because you would have to save him from something else. so whats happening btw charlie and desmond sorta like karma?

JF, Okay. However I still agree that I Think that Charlie, Jack, Kate, and Sawyer aren't going anywhere anytime soon. Hopefully...
Did you watch the interveiws online or on tv or did you actually get to watch it in person? That is if you don't mind my asking.
(laughs) So he did fly off the handle..doesn't surprise me. He's just got that air about him...that stay out of my way or else...yep that was totally a Sawyer thing to do.
Thanks for that site name. I'll have to check it out sometime. It really also helps that it's something to read. See my computer speakers don't work. So anything that I can actually read online is a Very good thing. Thanks again, JF.
LOTRfreak13, At first I thought that it was very confussing too but then I started to catch on so I liked it alot. Um, let me see what I can help explain here...The lady in the pawn shop at least to me seemed to be somebody else who happened to have the same gift as Des and knew alot about that. However Des said that he thought that she was his conscious...therfore I'm not 100% sure on who she truely was. As for what he meant about the whole Charlie dieing thing, was that when that lightning came through the camp that he (Des) had "saw" it hit and kill Charlie (instead of his rod). So in order to protect Charlie he had put the rod in the midst of their camp so that the lightning would strike his rod instead of striking and killing Charlie. Then when he saved Claire from drowning, right before that (when Hurly pointed out that Des was going all crazy in the woods) Des "saw" Charlie dive into the occean to save Claire from drowning and Charlie drown in the process. Okay, so when Des saved Claire he had really saved Charlie because if he hadn't have saved Claire, Charlie would have tried to have saved Claire and he (Charlie) would have drown. See that weird pawn shop lady said that "The unniverse has a way of correct its self" and went on to say in short that if somebody was meant to die they would die. So Des thinks that there is no way that he can keep protecting Charlie forever because he thinks that Charlie is Meant to die. It's kind of like karma...it's the unniverse correcting itself. Did that help?

Mmm...I definately have been freaking out after knowing that it was Charlie that he's been saving.
One, that's just utterly sweet of him.
Two, Charlie is my man...and can NOT die.
Three, I've been thinking that Charlie has more to do with the plot that most of the "main characters." And this just confirms it!
And that old lady, well, she apparently was the woman who tried to sell the ring to Desmond in the real world. It was like a weird flashback...like a "memory-life flashing before your eyes" moment. Does that make sense?
*thinks about Charlie some more*
Mmm...CHARLIE! *hugs Charlie *

I watched the interviews online - if I had got see them in person (even though they are in the USA and I'm in the UK) the whole FORUM would have know about it.....nice dream though...mmm...
Aww...you have to get your speakers fixed...is it just the actual speakers or the speaker system because if your actual computer box...thing...has a headphone hole...maybe you could listen through that....I don't know much about copmputers so I'm probably just rambling here. Lol.
Yeah, Lost Media is excellent for it's summaries, they haven't added last night's yet, but they're all there apart from that.
It sounds like they're leaving it up to the viewer, to make their minds up about the prawn shop lady. What's new there eh?
@ Monty - And I thought I was the only one completely and utterly obsessed about a LOST character?

Mmmm.... Charlie, is my man. Honestly, he's just freakin' amazing. He's been my man from the beginning. Then Hurley, then Desmond.
@LOTR: I don't think they'll be killing off Charlie any time soon. Like I said earlier...Dom's fan base is HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE....ergo...his fans won't watch.

Wow! I just saw last night's episode! Amazing, just amazing!
Even though I'm not a huge Charlie fan, I was quite surprised and even a little sad to hear that Desmond might not be able to keep saving him. But all your talk of not killing Charlie reassures me
For a moment there, I thought Claire was going to die!
And did anyone think that the preview for next week looks SO good??! It said that 3 Major Mysteries will be revealed!!
I can't wait!

Me too Otherwise I would have no one to vent my obsessiveness with! None of my RL friends watch it, so I'm all alone My friend rolled her eyes at me yesterday when I said "Lost is on tonight!" (true...I said it in a very spastic, scary way... )
