^Practice helps you get better. I know from experience.
(I don't necessarily believe in practice makes "perfect", because usually the artist doesn't think any work of theirs is absolutely flawless...
)
May i join? I tend to mostly sketch, or sometimes use watercolor pencil (a special kind of pencil that you color with like normal colored pencils and then add water with a brush, so the colors "pop out"). I like drawing people, especially close up.
Yay, fellow anime fans! I tend to draw slightly more realistically than the anime style (tho i suspect my style is influenced by it), but i'm dying to learn more about drawing anime. (My mom is looking at several "how-to" books on the subject on ebay... She's such a great mom.
) I'll try to post some of my drawings some time.
