My parents have never pushed me to be a girly-girl. My mom was a rather a tomboy herself, so she's fine with all of that.

My mom jokes about making me wear a skirt and stuff, but mostly my parents leave me alone. I think they prefer it to me being a girly girl - I mean, if I wasn't a tomboy, I'd probably want expensive clothes and stuff.

*sigh* I wish that was my case. My parents and my very girly-girl sister are always telling me, "stop dressing like a boy!" I like boys clothes because they don't have to worry about bending over and giving everyone a peep-show. The shirt I am wearing right now, I am not even showing my collar-bone. I can't stand to wear anything lower than that.

My mum doesn't mind, but my dad thinks that I should act more like a girl. And my girly-girl sister thinks that I am stupid for not wearing any makeup - ever.

Well, I wear make-up to conceal (as best I can) the many flaws in my face. Acne ect. But I do wear a light blush, but NEVER eye make-up.

Do freckles count as flaws? In class the other week we were reading this book set in the Victorian times which involved a pretty girl having no freckles, everyone looked at me and just laughed. I like my freckles I like eye make-up and lip make-up least of all, though *shudder*

Well, I don't know. I think freckles can make someone look twice as cute.

I come froma male-predominant family where football and hunting are a big part of life, so I think my dad likes me being a tomboy. My mom, I think, is gladI don't ask for tons of expensive stuff, but would like for me to be more girly.

I don't like really low clothing either. I feel too exposed. I don't wear much make-up either. It helps that I go to an all girls highschool. There we're not pressured to look our best. There's no guys to impress. Just roll out of bed, put on your uniform, then go to school. My mom grew up on a farm so she's not the girly gorl type, so I'm not pressured to be girly at home either. My sister is girly, but she younger so it doesn't really matter.

My sister is half and half. Though, I wouldn't mind her becoming more girly than I. I like the way I am, but in my town, being a tomboy is well....a different and more hard way to live...and I don't want my sis to go through it all...

I'm sure you can.
Around here, we have lots of tomboys and lots of girly girls. It just seems that most of the girly ones go to my school, while the tomboys go to other schools. Augh. Gets annoying sometimes.

There aren't many girly girls in my class, and we just outcast them anyway. We have set groups, I guess.

Cute They're not 'cute' freckles across the bridge of my nose lol! My freckles are too many to be dainty Though everyone laughs at me because I have 4 moles on my cheek that make a perfect square
