Ditto, SG. MSes just get on my nerves. No offense meant to all of you who think they are fun or anything, though.

Anyway, I'll stop spamming now... Has it been decided weather we're going to start completely over or not?

Generally, I don't like Mary-Sue's either, in serious RPs. There was one, though, that was specifically for Mary-Sues and Marty-Sams. We were poking fun at MSs anyway. lol

Ugh..too braindead to start it now. My internet's been down for three days, so I have a lot to catch up with..but if anyone else has an idea for an opening post..feel free to start us off. If not..I'll come up with something.

Lol, Raven. That sounds horrific, losing internet like that.
Anyways, whenever you do start this up, I'm ready to begin, too.

Name: Yrudit Vs'axeral
Age: not quite halfway through his life
Race: lizardman
Gender: male
Appearance: http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i273/ ... Yrudit.jpg
^without the spikes, armor and weapons
Attire: azure robes hemmed and emblazened with gold; tattoo of a hawk's wing on either side of his head
Personality: quiet and contemplative; noble and holding true to his beliefs despite the discrimination
Weapons: jeweled rapier; alabaster staff topped with a swirling azure orb
History: He was born under the order of lizard shamans as a child, in the Wasteland of Duzakha. Early on he forsook their barbarian ways and was banished from his clan. He has been wandering the world alone, worshiping the light gods (assuming there are light gods), ever since.
Exalted or Gifted(one or the other. If neither, leave blank): Exalted
Abilities(for Gifted, two maximum. Exalted, there is no limit): healing, telepathy, water and air manipulation
-----------
The Wasteland of Duzakha was, upon easy decision, the most depressing place Yrudit Vs'axeral had ever encountered. This relevation spoke volumes, as the wandering lizardman had traveled far in his life. As chance would have it, this bleak desolation just happened to be his homeland by heritage, not choice. Even now, after all these years of self-imposed exile from his kind, the concept repulsed him.
The moon, a pale and reluctant sliver in the velvety darkness, sulkily illuminated a barren desert of withering shrubbery and scorched terrain. The breathtaking panorama of stars was perhaps the only beauty in this unforgiving land. Steep ravines lacerated the monotony, and jutting out from the earth like forbidding sentinels every few miles was a titanic stone mound, thirty feet high and twice that in circumference. Much had changed, Yrudit recalled. When he'd left Duzakha decades ago - the lizardmen being longer-lived than humans - he didn't remember the enormous mounds. Had they materialized along with the rumors of dark happenings and egregious strongholds? He didn't know, and his ignorance disturbed him more than a little.
With a profound sigh he snapped his attention from his ponderings to the matter at hand. The cold howling wind buffeted his scaly form, and with a shiver he pulled his azure robes closer about him. He called forth a dimly pulsing azure light to the orb that topped his alabaster cleric's staff. Just enough to light his way, but lacking the radiance to alert the potential enemies just ahead. Crimson eyes glowing uncannily in the darkness, Yrudit crept forward.
He needn't have bothered. Though they only numbered by the three score, the half-ogres were making enough noise for an entire army. Around their roaring bonfire they danced, stomping and writhing in religious ecstasy. He decided that unless he and his companions stupidly marched up to their camp, they shouldn't pose a problem. Satisfied, he retraced his steps back to the nearest mound south of his position.
His companions were huddled around a campfire under an overhang on the opposite side of the mound. The journey from the bastion of the Gifted had proved taxing. They were almost at their destination, standing upon the threshold of the most difficult trials they would ever face in this quest. Duzakha itself was far from a forgiving place, and the dark creatures prowling about hardly made it safer. With this in mind, they'd halted as soon as they'd sighted the ominous bonfire in the distance, sending Yrudit ahead to scout the situation.
