Cool. I like Horse Illustrated, but it's more English then Western.

yeah well I'm gonna have t find that sooner or later....
But I had my first english lesson on Saturday! I had a little help tacking up and I'm still a little fuzzy on some of the finer details of a lot of that stuff. But on the riding part i got to posting at the trot. She said she didn't expect me to.......but I like it!

Thats great Weeziey! What is an Arabian tie-down? Is it like a martingale you use for contesting or do you tie it around your horse's mouth for English?

oh she's not an Arabian she's just sized like on and has a really short neck.
But a tie down is like a strip of material that you attach to the D-Rings on your girth and it keeps you horse from tossing their head up when you check and direct rein them.

Oh, well I should probaly get one for my horse because I'm doing western this year and he holds his head high. I don't no if he will like western or not, I love it, done it since I was 3. He has gone engish for 26 years.
