LOL, you never know, if they find a treehouse or a water wheel they should probably worry, and with all the literary referances in LOST it wouldn't surprise me...

[were they actually on the island or were they on the ship with them? They were on the ship in the film]

LOL, Monty. Este should have coprighted "fwee"....:teehee:

Well, I was considering using the word: "Whee!!" But, it didn't feel appropriate. ;) :P Ha ha ha!

No matter how it's going to be ended, someone will be disappointed. :P Me, mainly because it'll have ended....although, depending on how long it goes...it may be its' time...whenever it decides to depart the silverscreen.

LOL that's how I feel! :teehee: :D

I think that the writers will probably come up with a good ending. I have to have faith!

OOH! I forgot! On Saturday when I was at Barnes and Noble, I was just about to check out, but I saw Entertainment Weekly (a magazine) and it had a pic of Jack, Juliette, and Ben on the cover, so I bought it :teehee: Then I read the Lost article last night. Very interesting! It said that the producers already know the ending of the show and they're 'not making it up as they go along' :P LOL. There was obviously way more, but I'll have to re-read the article before I can tell you guys about it :D Staying up till 11 when I'm exhausted does nothing for the memory! :P

Well I go through life not expecting things to be good, so if things aren't good I'm not disappointed but if they're great I am happy!

Same with LOST. I'm going to say it's will be a bad ending so I won't be disappointed if it is, and if it's a really good ending I'll be delighted.

It's not fair....my mum and brother rave over 24 so they get a 24 magazine. In last months issue I saw a LOST magazine bumper special with Kate, Jack and Ben (I needs it to keep him under my pillow)...but I don't think I'll get it somehow.... :'(

Arsarniel, Lost kind of reminds me of the Swiss Family Robinson. I must agree that I think that it's because of the whole island thing and also becuase of the polar bear... Hmm...(thinks..light bulb goes off) Nah...they're not going to have the characters of Lost being written into a new version of the book the Swiss Family Robinsions and that's why the characters are on an island and have the characters of a book being able to remember the real world...least I hope not... Okay don't mind me...I stayed up wy too late last night and my mind's going off with crazy ideas.
Gilraen Ringeril, I haven't watched the clip yet but the idea of a bone arm...makes me think of PotC too. lol :-D
JF, (laughs) Yeah, lets have old Captain Jack Sparrow turn up on Lost. I would love that. If they could get Johnny Deep to make a guest star apperence and have one of the character have a hallutionation and think that they saw Jack...man that would totally bring in some more veiwers.
Oh, and I'm really sorry that you didn't get to get the Lost magazine. I hope that at some point you are able to get it.
As for the theories about the island happenings being a dream of some sort one of the producers said that it wasn't something in somebody's head (according to Wikipedia). So I don't think that it's a dream or something like that which I am actually glad of. In truth I have seen where tv shows will say that it's some of it's happenings are were dreams and unless there is a paticular character that was killed off to be brought back, I generaly don't like it when the most part os shows turns out to be dream(s).
Personaly I would like it turn out that the island is "real" in the realm of Lost. I don't know how they could do that still have it make perfect sense but that's how I want it to go down. Um, when it ends I expect to be disappointed but I am still holding out just a tiny bit of hope that it might be a good ending...I can dream. ;) lol I'll be disappointed no matter what because just as MontanBohemian said I don't want it to end... :'( . Well, there is talk of a season 4 so maybe we still have a while to go...with any luck a very Long while to go. :-D
I would like to see the castaways get off the island, and each of them to at the very least just to be a little happy and if nothing else to find their place in the world. In the semi final show it to come up and say something like 5 years latter, have the whole episode foccus around the Lost characters re-union, have them talking to one another about therir time spent on the isalnd, get to see how there lives would may change after leaving the isalnd, and see them re-enact with one another for one last time (in a more normal situation). lol Then the final episode to be a cast re-union. You, know...just let us have an hour of the cast talking about shooting Lost and there time spent on it and just talking to one another...(shrugs) Both ideas are chessy and probabley not going to happen but it's what I would like to see. If and when Lost ends how would you like to see it come to an end?

I really have no idea where LOST is going - and although at times it feels like the creators don't know that either, ME says there is a master plan so I'll agree with him. ;)

I think I'll be satisfied when it ends - as it would be worse to see the series going on and on and finally becoming so stupid that I can't carry one with it. I'll also probably be angry when it ends, as I'm sure there will be something about it I won't like. But I'll also miss the talks and theoretical conversations I've had about LOST....but at least I can watch all the episodes again, and analyze everything and look for the little clues that led to the conclusion. :D

That's what's great about TV on DVD :D :D When I get enough money, I want to buy all the seasons on DVD ;) :teehee:

I think what I'd like to see in the ending is the mystery of the island revealed (obviously), and I really do hope it's at least somewhat realistic. Also, I think some of the characters should get off the island (like Desmond - ones that have ties to the oustide world), and if some of the characters want to stay that's cool too :D But I do want to know what happens to everyone (the characters - not cast :P) after the show. A "5 years from now" episode might be good ;)

^I used a $100 hunk out of my savings today to buy Season One and Two! SQUEE! Can't wait to watch them again... XD

A five years from now episode would be f a a n t a s t i c. I'm sure I'll love it anyway they end it though, even when I'm disapointed, I can't help but love it because it's just... Lost. :P You know this is awful, but I'd like to see something drastic happen to Sayid at the end. Like, REALLY drastic, blow-your-mind away drastic. I'm not sure what though.

Ooooh, I was meaning to talk about Sayid! :D

Even though he's not my favorite character, I love him! The only reason I cared that Shannon died was because Sayid was so sad :(

Anyway, something drastic with him would be awesome :D

The bizarre animals were on the island in the book, but the ship also had "normal" animals on board. :P

I think I'd like something big with Sayid too... I've been going through Sayid withdrawls this entire season! :stun: And they're just ignoring him, as if he was an extra! :'(

My brother has series 1 on DVD. he got it for Christmas. In the UK, all the series were released as part 1 and then a part 2 DVD box set. When the series had ended on TV, there was then the complete series released. Hopefully, most people will have waited until it was out "as one", as it was the cheaper way to buy the series.

Hmm....we've talked about favourite characters.....so maybe we should talk about least favourite....actually it's amazing I like LOST as most of the characters I don't like! :teehee:

Sayid is...meh to me....I don't really like him, so his flashbacks don't excite me. He was alright in the beginning but then his charcater just did....nothing....his romance with Shannon was a bit...weird....just because Shannon was a feeling a bit...unloved, Sayid was a weird companion for her. And then he just moped about after she died.

I had this conversation with one of my friends yesterday...well, we just got to talking about Lost for like a half an hour...quite amusing really. But she said that she bought that Entertainment Weekly and is extremely confused. :P Ha ha ha!!
And then we talked about really random theories...and I happened to say maybe it's just deja vu or something. ;) :P Ha ha ha!

But then we were talking about Sun and Jin...and...we couldn't remember if we had seen them since Sun shot Juliet on the boat. :P OH, the memory of college students. XD Ha ha ha!!
And now that I think about it...wouldn't Sun and Jin ... with the boat ... figure out that there are other islands? And so, if they are back, wouldn't they tell everyone else? So, when Kate and Sawyer get back...all the other people will know about it. Or maybe Sun and Jin just took off in the boat. Or maybe I've just lost my mind. :P

I actually kind of liked Shannon...but not really until the end of her days. If that makes any sense. :P But, I think shows do that...make you like them...and then kill them off. :P With the exception of Ethan. I just thought that was amazing when Charlie shot him like 4 times. He was so evil and dangerous looking! TOTALLY hot! :swoon:

I would really like to see Sayid come back. OH! And I was watching "Syriana" the other night...and there was a guy with the name of "Sayid" except it's spelled "Said." So, is "Sayid" the way OUR "Sayid" spells it...in English, of course. ;) :P Or is it really "Said"? Or am I just asking too many questions? XD

And I'm jealous of you who have the DVDs. I really want them! But, with my budget, not for a while I think. And I suppose, if I had them...I'd be watching constantly. :P

But Sun, Jin and Sayid don't have the boat anymore. The Others took it didn't they? And it was poor Colleen who got shot....yep I say poor because I like the Others. :P

Yeah, Ethan was great! :D I liked Ethan...our Losties are very stupid though....I mean Ethan was the first "Other" they could have got info from and what does Charlie do? Shoot him a million times....Ana Lucia had Goodwin who she could have hit over the head with a log and then got info from. What does she do? Spear him like a kebab! :swoon: I really liked Goodwin. :-(

Yeah, I agree Shannon did get better...she was a bit less of a pratt.... :P

Did they take it then? Well, how did those two get back to the ... normal island? :P Ha ha ha!
Oh, that's right..not Juliet. Well, that was a long time ago...and they looked the same. :P Ha ha ha ha...

Of all the Others, Ethan...I was actually really fascinated. Which explains my glee when I saw him in Juliet's flashback. :P
But, I think Charlie was in the right when he killed Ethan. And I think you'd do the same if you were kidnapped...and hung to die....and then there's his whole connection with Claire...and you'd be angry if that happened to someone that you cared about.
Totally bad ass. I'm sticking to my guns when I say it was hot. (Besides the fact he was soaking wet) ;) :swoon:

And I never liked Ana Lucia very much...so, pretty much, whatever she did, I thought was stupid. I mean, she shot Shannon for crying out loud. :P

Well from what I remember the group found a "decoy" village, which was located on the Losties' island, so they were still close on their own island, but just further down the beach.

Yeah, I can appreciate the situation...but I think even Jack & Co thought what Charlie did was a bit rash....I mean that having Ethan could have helped them.....I don't think he should have let his personal feelings get in the way with the fate of the other survivors.

Man, Ana Lucia was the worst character in LOST. The writers origianlly wanted her to be either for Jack or Sawyer......but they relaised the way they had written the character was a bit....bleurgh...and neither of them would really fall in love with Ana, From what I've heard the actress wasn't that different from the character.
