LOL Oh I see.  Personally, it almost seemed in this episode that Jack, Juliet, and Ben were working together...somewhat 
As for Pickett? I hated him. He was out to get my Sawyer!  And he very nearly killed Sawyer too!  But I don't know why Juliet didn't just wound Pickett. Probably because Pickett probably would have just then turned the gun on her. Even if you're wounded, if you have a gun you can kill people! _________________

Well....I like looking at things from werid angles. Sawyer purosely from Day One annoyed Pickett and insulted him.....Pickett was a bit of a grump anway, but I'm sure this didn't help. Sawyer was actually pretty stupid to annoy the Others as a) he didn't know what they would do and b) he wasn't the only one taken captive, Kaye could have suffered because of what he did/said. As much as I like Sawyer, he should have laid off the sarcasm and played it safe until the time was right. That would have been the sensible thing to do.
When Pickett's wife was killed by a Lostie he was understandablyupset and angry and he wanted revenge (hey, the Others are human too). And who was he going to take it out on? A fellow Other? Nah. The guy who is the one who has done nothing but annoy him and is known to the person who killed his wife? Yes! So, I can understand Pickett's motivation for wanting to get at Sawyer and even kill him.
Juliet must have known the penalty for killing an Other so why she killed Pickett I don't know. I'm sure she could have shot Pickett in his firing arm and leg - that would have shown mercy - but this killing proves to me that she is still not the nicest person on the planet.
I heard mention of Ethan? Was Ethan in this episode?_________________

^Ethan was not in this episode he was just metioned by ben. When Jack was planning to help Ben out. Jack said something like well you guys should have a better Surgeon. and Ben said something like we did and he mentioned Ethan's name.
I kinda feel sorry for Pickett but not really. He really hated Sawyer, prolly because he wife/girlfriend got shot . and he had to take it out on someone..as Gil said
As for Juliet/Jack..I kinda felt that when Jack put the leaf on her back..and then when they did a close up of Jack putting his hand on her waist...I thought that was kinda wierd.
Wait so in the end was everyone going? or was it just jack and ben and some other people. When they are moving Ben and Jack there was just a few people and the rest of the Others were standing and watching them. But in the last scene they were all on the boat..

Yeah, Sawyer probably didn't need to provoke Pickett. But he provokes everyone He still should not have done it though.
And yeah, the Jack/Juliet and the aloe leaf thing was like WOAH!  He was practically caressing her 
And at the end, LOTRfreak, I think that they all left for the other island (though I was confused too ), but when they showed just Ben, Jack, and few others leaving, while Juliet and more people stayed on the beach, I think that Jack was just taking Ben to the 'big' boat on a canoe thing, and then the rest of the people got on the 'big' boat somewhere else
LOL did that make any sense? I could be totally wrong though... _________________

Yehs that makes sense! because i did see a bigger boat in the background!  at the end Alex seemed kinda worried. maybe because she just misses her boyfriend (forgot his name ATM). because the stars were out. But it seems like Alex's BF is going to try to do something for Alex, just fmor the way he was talking and the pep talk sawyer gave him

Gilraen Ringeril, I just have to say that I agree with you 100% about feeling sorry for Sawyer. I mean he truely beleives that Kate just did it because she thought that he was going to die... he even said that. However I can't blame him. I see that as a natural reaction.
Then what does she do...she cries!  Is she just out to break his heart or what? What does she think that she is doing? Honestly why did she cry? I mean because she felt guilty...why would she feel guilty...because of Jack? Last I checked she didn't tell Jack that they were an item. It's not like she was cheating on him is my point. So if that's why she was so upset, then that just doesn't make any sense to me. Um, because she thinks that she has really hurt Saywer? If that was the case why not just tell Saywer that? That would make things alot easier on poor Saywer and for that matter probabley her too. Sorry about my rant but I just had to get that out.
I was sensing some chemistry too. I'm glad that I'm not the only one who noticed that. Personaly though I kind of liked them together. I'm not really a fan of Jack's but when he was with her...I liked them. To me they just seemed to click. (shrugs)
JF, and Gilraen Ringeril, As for Picket, I can see both sides. I can understand that he was angry and upset and even wanting to take it out on Sawyer. However I can also understand and feel sorry for Sawyer. Reason being because Saywer has had alot of loss as well and I beleive his "bad" attitude is his way of dealing with everything that he has botteled up inside of him. It wasn't the smart thing for Sawyer to do but it's what Sawyer does. It's just who he is. Picket shouldn't have come after him but at the same time I don't blame him for wanting to. What I am saying is that Sawyer shouldn't have pushed him and Picket shouldn't have come after him. Both parties are to blame in my opinion on this one.

Hah! I was SUCH a Sayid/Kate shipper at the first! In fact, I still have a bit of SK in me. Prolly because I can't make up my mind if I feel more sorry for Jack or Sawyer... ehe.
JF. I think the lostpedia articles are a little... off. At least, I hope they are. The stuff they wrote on Driveshaft made me laugh + cry + freak out. [IE, the changed version of "You All Everybody" entitled "You All Every Butties"] I think some of it is just rumor... or nonsense... or... something other than fact.
I was reading some opinions on Lost today, and the actors seem to think that the writers are having a hard time filling in the supposed 5 seasons. They knew the beginning, they know the end... but they're grasping at straws to make interesting middle stuff. _________________ <center>
