Constince straightened in her saddle and nodded. She knew she had not been in the right state of mind and she was rather ashamed of herself. She needed to keepher mind on the taks at hand.

Alendariel frowned in concern. "Eruraina, I would not ask this of you nor your friend in any other circumstance, but would you please take the others with you and Orlinos, if the load is not too great? I will fight to provide you with an adequate diversion." her mind flashed to her daughter. "And care for Elesana, please." she added quietly, looking Eruraina directly. "Care for her as though she were your own." She smiled bravely, and drew her blade.

Crandol didn't relize that this should not have been the time for love. this was only his and Raelyn second meeting. they had met once in galadrial's court and then this was the second time. but they would never forget each others faces. in between the times they had met they had exchanged letters to each other, that no one else knew about.

Rain gripped her chin, thinking. She lightly chewed on her finger. She was always good at chess, and thinking up stratagies quickly.
"Alendariel, you shouldn't have to sacrifise yourself like that. It isn't right, you should live...." Rain thought for a moment longer.
"I have an idea. Everyone, tak off your cloaks, and any cloths that you can spare!" she said, taking off her cloak, gloves, vest, riding chaps that she always wore, and overshirt. The only thing she left on was her undergarmets, trousers, and a light cotton tunic...

*Sarien shrugged and followed Rain's instructions. She removed her cloak, overshirt, and chaps. Sarien was left with her tunic. Legolas took off his cloak and tunic. He was left with his underarmor.*

Constince pulled two short cloaks out of her saddle pack along with her other set of cloths. She didn't want to part with the cloak she now wore.
