The League of Insanity has been trying to answer your question for thousands of years, actually, but it's very hard due to the fact that the full League can't be together at the same time. The Paranoias don't trust the rest of the League, and the the Claustrophobics can't be in a small room, and the Schizophrenics don't even trust themselves. However, do not lose hope. They will find an answer eventually, and in the meantime, the "outside world" has decided that you can only be "legally insane," so at least you can't be "clinically insane" as well.

Because once upon a time, there was a little baby waiting to be sent down by Stork to earth and to her proper parents. Her name was yet to be decided by her parents, but the angels all knew that someday she would call herself by the elven name of "Yaviel". And so that was what they called her while she was up there, in her little cradle, waiting to be taken down. She had beautiful eyes and a head of silky dark hair, and the angels all loved her.
But one day, Tickles the silly angel decided to play a nasty trick on the other angels, since he knew they all loved Yaviel, and he decided to change the color of her beautiful hair to BLONDE instead of keeping it DARK. The angels were furious! But the spell was irreversable, and Yaviel was sent down to her parents with blonde hair instead of brown hair. But as Yaviel grew up, the angels watched her, and found out that she grew to be so beautiful even with blonde hair that they could not help but become pleased with the change that Tickles has made. And Yaviel has been blonde ever since.

She was a young, bright-eyed, courageous girl, who had been so blessed by the angels that loved her that she became renowned for the depth of her spirit and for her curiosity of the world. But curiosity can be a dangerous thing, as if you live your life with too much curiosity that is unsatisfied, it can lead you to do things more terrible than you could ever imagine. And so, the angels, not wishing anything to happen to Yaviel, instead gave her another blessing...the blessing of an adventurous spirit that would lead her to go out and satisfy the things of her curiosity with little fear in her wake, and therefore being idle is always something of a bother to her. The End.
