I am on Lord of Chaos at the moment... I am taking my time in finishing it, though. The book is too big to carry back and forth to school everyday, and I recently got Sims 2, so I have been playing that, lol. I'll get through them... eventually...lol

I'm rereading them all...again. I just started Dragon Reborn. There are so many things you catch after reading all the others!
Here's a question: what do you expect Tarmon Gai'don to be like? There are lots of theories out there, especially about the "twice dawns the day" and "shadows" and all that, but what do you think? Will it just be a bunch of Dreadlords and Trollocs against the Dragonsworn? And how do you think the Seanchan and split Aes Sedai factions will fit into it?

Haha. I have been rereading all the books for the last two weeks--I've gone through them all except for Book Four.
I love that series.
I think that the Aes Sedai will join each other under Egwene before going to Tarmon Gai'don. I doubt that they will be split for it.
But I haven't really thought about what the battle itself will be like. Rand's armies, plus the Band of the Red Hand, plus Perrin's wolves, versus tons of Myrddraal and Trollocs, Draghkar, Black Ajah, Darkfriend Asha'man, etc. And meanwhile Rand takes on the Dark One. And Mat and Perrin defeat everything that's thrown against them.
I was on Theoryland.com the other day, and I noticed something that I could kick myself for not thinking of sooner--what if Noal Charin is Jain Charin/Farstrider? I am absolutely convinced that he is, and it's so blindingly obvious that I am embarrassed that I didn't notice it earlier.

Yeah, I didn't trust Noal at first. But after a while, I warmed up to him. And I had thought at one point he could be Jain Farstrider.
I can't wait for the Aelfinn and Elfinn and Tower of Ghenji! It will be so amazing. There are theories that Mat will lose an eye going in there. That would be sad, but would fit with the whole "lose half the eye of the world" thing.

Lol--"lose half the light of the world" thing.
I can't wait for that section, either. It's going to be an exciting scene involving my favorite character.
I like Noal, but I have also read theories that state that he might be a Darkfriend, which worries me. I don't want him to be a Darkfriend, but if he is, then it's still more acceptable than Talmanes being one, for example.

Talmanes --darkfriend? No. I won't have it.
Yes, half the light of the world. Whoops..heh.
You know how Elaida is always stuck on the whole "the house of Andor is important in the Last Battle" thing? My thinking is --it's not Elayne. Sure she's important, but Rand was from the line of the Royal house. He's rather important in the Last Battle. And I think Morgase is going to have some part in the next book too.
Here's a question: if you were in "Randland" (I don't like that name but I have nothing better) what group of people would you like to be? I would totally be Aiel. I love them.

Lol, Nurr. What a pointless question--who wouldn't love to be Aiel? I would, without any doubt, want to be Aiel. Preferably an Aethan Dor or Shae'en M'taal.
Interesting idea on Elaida's prophecy/foretelling thing about the Royal House of Andor being heavily involved--I had never really assumed that it was other than Elayne, Gawyn, Galad, and Morgase, but it does make sense that it would be Rand, too. A lot of sense. I hate Elaida.

I am finishing up Crossroads of Twillight now.
If you look up the Wheel of Time on Wikipedia, there is A TON of info there. Egwene is captured, made a novice, but while she is a novice she convices others (novices, Accepted, andAes Sedai) that she is the true Amrylin and Elaida is the usurper.
It also says that book 12 A Memory of Light will be the last book even if it is 1,500 - 2,000 pages long. Mr. Jordan expects to release it in 2009. He also plans to write other prequel novels and other shoot-offs from the main story.

Egwene as a novice was probably my second favorite part of Knife of Dreams. She's just so cool. And supposedly one of his prequels will be about Tam finding Rand. That would be so awesome. You'd get to hear all about Tam as one of the Defenders and all that. I'd love it.
Yeah, I suppose most people would want to be Aiel. I mean, they just rock. I'd probably be a Taardad Aiel. They seem pretty honorable. Or maybe Goshien. I love the chapter in Shadow Rising when Rand is in Rhuidean and learns all about the Aiel's origins.
There also is a WoT wiki:: http://wot.wikia.com/wiki/A_beginning

Lol, AWD--that's all covered in Knife of Dreams, at least Egwene being a novice.
That was also my second favorite bit in the book, after Mat's sections. Mat's always the best.
Rand's sections rocked, too. Perrin's are just...annoying.

Yeah. I used to like Perrin's bits better than Rand's, then Perrin went all "Faile". Everything was about Faile. It got really annoying after a while. While Rand gets more interesting what with the Black Tower destruction and Logain and Taim.

The only way I can describe Faile is a snotty b**** (pardon my French) and I keep expecting her to stab Perrin in the back. I really can't believe that she truly loves him. He is so blinded by his supposed "love" that he has gone stupid. He can't even function without Faile. I just skim over the Perrin parts to get it over with. I also hate how he thinks things out so slowly. He doesn't even realize how smart he really is. That just really bugs me.
I find Rand's love life absolutely halarious so I like reading his parts. I really like Min, too.
Elaida is needs major therapy or a bullet to the head.
Elayne, Aviendha, and Birgitte are cool. Mat is cool too, but that whole Daughter of the Nines Moons is weird.
I really don't like how most of the characters don't seem to have any control of their thoughts, emotions, or what they say. It also bugs me how Rand can't kill women. What bugs me most of all is how emo they all get sometimes.
What I would like to read about is when Elayne tells Rand that she is pregnant with his children and when Rand meets his father again after everything that has happen and how much he has changed.

You don't think Faile loves Perrin? I know she's really, really, really annoying, but I'm pretty sure that she does love him. I think that's been made pretty obvious over the eight books she's been in. Well, seven, since she wasn't in The Fires of Heaven.
I love Rand's sections, but I don't find them hilarious. Rather, whenever I read them, I sympathise with him. He's such an awesome character.
And then there's Mat. Mat is the best. Mat is by far the best. Mat rocks. Mat is the most interesting, the most humorous, and the coolest of all of the characters in the series. I love Mat.
One thing I love about both Mat and Rand is that they won't kill women. Rand won't do it if he can avoid it, and Mat won't do it even if he dies because of it. It's a very cool thing for RJ to have put in there, especially since I think I would be in much the same straits as they are if I had gone through all that they had. Having four sisters, I don't think I could bring myself to kill a woman.
I love WoT.

*Creeps in* I'm almost afraid to join this club because of the potential spoilers lurking, but I rather feel as though I must I'm finished The Eye of the World and The Great Hunt and I started The Dragon Reborn this morning. So far I think I'm a fan I finished the second one really late last night and afterwards probably stared at the ceiling with the lights off for an hour. I was SO shocked that Selene was Lanfear, but it seemed so obvious! Like, DUH she's Lanfear! Sometimes I wonder about myself. But I was glad there was more Elayne and Min in the second book, I like them. And I still can't decide who I want Rand to end up with....I want Egwene, I think, but it doesn't look like happening

For your sake, I'll try to monitor my spoiler-disclosure in this thread, Melda.
Hurry up and finish the series so I can talk without fear of spoiling things for you.

Well, I'm a ways into The Dragon Reborn now. I like the bits with Egwene/Elayne/Nynaeve best, Egwene has sort of grown on me. I still don't like Mat much, though, and Rand is acting bizarrely Plus I've started seeing the Black Ajah in every single Aes Sedai that's even vaguely mentioned, it's amusing. And thank you, I shall read faster so that you have to withhold fewer spoilers
