Thanks!!

lol Neither did mine. My mom's abit of a tomboy herself so yeah no presure there at all. I'll have one or two girly moments every once and great while but nothing big or anything.

My mom is not much of a tomboy, but she has tried to get me to go shoping and get my nails painted. I hate both.

Me neither. But fake nails are even worse - the thought of gluing nails on your own really revolts me

I'm against painted nails, or fake ones, just as much as eye make-up and fake eye lashes. The thought of tattooing your make-up on your face sends shivers down my back.

lol i don't really mind having my nails painted actually. I do it every once and awhile but I have to be in the right mood for it and it's always the same color....BLACK! XD or red. One of the two. My fave colors btw <3

Indeed it is. It seems to me that makeup shows insecurity. You wear it because you're not confident in the way you look.

Yeah! One of my friend's, she had a birthday were we went shopping in the mall then went to a salon to get our hair and nails done then did makeup and walked around the mall flirting. I didn't go in the salon or stores, and walked on the other side of the halls as them saying 'I don't know them'
I agree with elvish, those with makeup aren't secure with how they look.

I agree with EJP too-I wear makeup, and I'm not secure in how I look. lol I do look better with makeup on, though. I have big dark circles, and my nose is red and shiny without it. I sound like Rudolph the reindeer. lol

I have dark circles around my eyes too, and once before a basketball game I put some of my mom's foundation on underneath them. It looked better for a while, but it REALLY irritated my eyes and they got all red, and I had to wash it off before the game. So now I don't mess around with makeup.

I don't think everyone who wears it can be called insecure...I don't, but some people wear it because they want to look good for themselves, not for anyone else.

I can't stand it. My friend poked me in the eye with mascara one time. It makes your face feel sticky.

I just can't stand make-up - I hate the feeling of it on your face. My mum doesn't mind what I wear or which sports I do, but she's always trying to get me to wear make-up. She says 'Don't you want to look your best?' My answer, 'No!'
