Alright, I recently came up with the idea for a new LotR RP character, and I'm a bit worried if one apect of her history would cause others to consider her a Mary Sue. She is not exceptionally beautiful or skilled in anyway (except in hunting), but I wanted to have her be a sort of lost child of Denethor II and his wife Finduilas. And of course by extension her siblings would be Boromir and Faramir.
I have no plans for her to ever meet her family, but I just need some opinions concerning whether or not having her be of royal blood would place her in the Mary Sue catagorey.
Any and all comments will be very appreciated.

There's a "Mary-Sue litmus test", the link's somewhere's about here-I'll go try to find it.
Anyway, I don't think she sounds too Mary-Sue-icidal (love that word. lol). Like Shadowcat said, as long as she has flaws, she should be fine.

Ha...Sue-icidal. I love that. :]
Thank you so much for posting that link, not only was it quite entertaining, it also helped me realize how much "worse" you could get in making a character.
Anyway, this character got a 14 which according to this test is in this range:
0-15 Points Your character should be fine at this level.
