Gibbs nodded back to Devina, as he listened in on what Portia was telling him. He sighed deeply and looked down to Jack. "Jack... come on, mate..." He said softly and motioned for him to come next to him. Portia just stood aside and watched.

Devina placed a hand on her cheek, all set to cover her eyes with fingers that were more accostumed to holding a blade.
Doubtfully, she moved next to Portia.

Jack slowly came out from under the bed, with great difficulty mind you, considering that he was a full grown man who had squished himself under there in the first place.
But, no less, Jack came out, cautious and ready to scat like a cat if someone made a sudden move.

Gibbs continued motioning for Jack to come toward him. "Come on, lad... it's alright. These lasses won't hurt ye anymore." He said to him and then nodded. Portia nodded in agreement with Gibbs and then nudged Devina to do the same.

Devina nodded, and smiled- Then flashed Portia a warning look, folding her arms; defiant and arrogant as always.
She didn't really want to know what Gibbs had in mind, or how he proposed to help the sitiuation other than thumping the boy- or man?- again.

Jack whiped his sore nose and took another straight step forward. Yes, you read right, he took a straight step. Apparently Jack wasn't born with his swagger, it must have him later down the road.
"Can't I just get off this ship?" he asked Gibbs.

Gibbs sighed and rested his hand on Jack's shoulder. "I'm sorry, lad. We're in tha middle o' tha ocean. We can't get off tha ship, unless yer plannin' on swimmin' all tha way ta Tortuga." He told Jack and then looked to the girls. He started leading Jack to the small eating room that they had on the ship. "Come on... we're gonna go and feed ya."

Devina threw Portia a heavily veled look, then folded her arms and follew them out. Since she hadnt even really signed the shups log, she hadnt been entitled to a free meal, and she wasnt about to letthe opportunity pass her by- She hadnt eaten properly for what seemed to be days.
"Well... Lets go..."she said as innocently as she could manage.

Portia sighed deeply and watched Devina for a few minutes before slowly following her out of the room. She folded her arms and made her way to the kitchen. She didn't know what Gibbs' plan was, but she hoped that it was better than knocking Jack's teeth out.

Gibbs smiled to Jack and nodded. "Ye sure can, lad." He told him and then folded his arms. He looked around the kitchen and sighed deeply. He was trying to figure out a plan as to how he was going to help Devina and Portia with Jack.

Devina sidled forward, and opend one of the cupboard doors, pulling out a loaf of bread, and broke it. Hungrily, she ate, flashing everyone a devilish grin.

Jack's eyes examined the kitchen, until he found something to snack on.
He took a bite out of the apple and slowly started backing up out of the doorway trying not to be obvious.

Portia just so happened to still be near the doorway, when Jack tried to leave. She raised an eyebrow to him and watched him closely. "What on earth are ye doin' Jack?" She asked him softly and rested her hands on her hips.
