JF, Weirdo Jack...
(falls out of chair laughing) Well, that's not exactly how that sceen went down I agree. However it was close enough. Jack just was like insane...don't push the button he said over and over and over and then he's like all why haven't you pushed the button, push the button.
Thank you Very much for that link. I would like to watch it. However my computer speakers don't work. So it's a no go for me, sorry. If I ever come across a written out version of that on one of the Lost sites or something I'll read it though.
Um, okay I'm sorting going crazy for spoilers...do you think that you could um put a spoiler warning in your post (for those who aren't into spoilers) and maybe post me the most interesting possable spoilers. :timid: I'll understand if there's to many to type down or or anything but if you could do that for me I would totally be 100% grateful.

Lol, I know. But it was the best I could do. :P

Aww...nuts...I forgot you don't have speakers. Tell you what - I'll watch the interview and type out everything they say ok? There are a few spoilers hinted, so that should quench your thirst for spoilers. I'll label the whole interview as being a spoiler so only those who want to read it, can. :D

Lol, "I bags" is not really an internet slang, it merely means "hey people, I'm doing/keeping this myself because I said so first". :D

I love the bit about the way cool M.E. :teehee:

Ok, DD. Here is it. Took me ages. Hope you enjoy it. It's very small print but if you "quote" it it will be Ok to read. :D

****SMALL PRINT IS A SPOILER INTERVIEW****

MI – Male Interviewer
FI – Female Interviewer
M.E – Michael Emerson

MI: I don’t know where to begin. How does it feel to be described, consistently as the most evil man on television?
M.E: I really don’t know what people mean when they say that. I think when they fully appreciate the burdens that my character has, his responsibilities and his sort of political situation, I think they’ll feel much more sympathetic
FI: Really?
MI: So we’ll be learning about that?
M.E: Oh yes, I think your impression of the Others is going to grow in complexity and dimension as this season goes along
FI: So the Others are going to be perhaps less menacing and evil than we think?
M.E: Well I think we’re going to see that the Others have problems of their own….
FI: Don’t we all?
M.E: And formidable ememies…..yes
FI: Others are just people
M.E: Just like you and me
FI: Speaking of when we left….
M.E But a little different
FI: A little Other. Speaking of when we left off with you, just to recap, you were having surgery…
M.E: Yes
FI: Do you survive?
M.E: I’m being held a surgical hostage by Jack, who has accidentally on purpose, injured one of my organs. It’s gonna get a lot worse before it gets better, but you are not done with Henry/Ben
FI: Henry Gale/Ben
MI: So now it’s time for some breaking news I guess. How much can you tell us about the Others at this point, their backstory, what are you allowed by the over-lords at LOST to let us know?
M.E: The audience at home I think knows a great deal about the Others already, what they don’t know is some of their difficulties and as I say they have enemies, so know that Henry/Ben has become incapacitated, we have a power vacuu in their world…
FI: Right
M.E: And there's a potential….
FI: Whose gonna fill it? Juliet?
[b]M.E:
Who indeed? No, I think there are even scarier people than Juliet
FI: Really? ‘Cos I can’t tell if she’s good or bad
M.E: It’s difficult
FI: Isn’t it?
MI: But that’s what I think made the first part of this season so rewarding. It was really a pretty radical move on the part of the producers to give the audience 6 episodes and then go away for 3 months and then come back with 16 in a row. How have the fans responded to you?
M.E: Well people don’t seem to be altogether pleased with that sort of compromise that was made. It was an experiment I think, and a sort of a valiant one to answer complaints from last season, where it was felt I think by the public that there were too many re-runs or special events, and people would get home and get comfortable and pop pop-corn and then it would be a re-run. So that made people unhappy, so we thought well we’ll do away with that. But er, this was sort of a halfway solution but I bet, next season there will be a new formatting of the show, maybe it will start later in the year and run right through I think
MI: Ok, well now it is time for Michael Emerson to submit to a “Cooler Quiz”. It’ll be brief, it’ll be painless. We hope.
FI: Just like the surgery he got from Jack!
MI: Ok, first question. Do the producers of LOST know what they’re doing?
M:E: Yes
MI: Ok, er, who will die next?
FI: I liked how you tried to slip that in!
M.E: Someone you have known and loved for a long time
FI: Oh, no!
MI: Is being arrested in Hawaii a sure way of losing your job on LOST?
M.E: They say no but I wonder
FI: If you were on a deserted island what could you not live without?
M.E: A shower
FI: Is this “Cooler Quiz” the most confusing thing you’ve ever done on television?
M.E: No
MI: On the Pratice, Law and Order and the X-Files you also played the dangerous guy, are you dangerous in real life?
M.E: (hestitantly) No
MI: That’s a perfect score. Very well done. Well done
M.E How did I get a perfect score?

Sorry Banana. DD is a really long poster and I tend to quote her so I can refresh my memory of all that she has posted. :-)

We've not been talking about much, just Weird Jack and the whole "push the button" scene.

JF, Thank you so much! I loved reading that interview. It was bloody brillant. M.E seems like a generaly nice person too I might add. However the most interesting thing I think might have been the stuff about Juliet...he said that there were scarier people than her...I find that...intersting. Though Juliet isn't exaclty going to be the bigest, badest, there is...I like the sounds of that. :-D I mean I kind of wouldn't mind her being a bad girl or even a bit of a villian but truely evil...I don't know that I would like that as much...I might...but I doubt it. Therfore I really liked what he implied about Juliet there. Then there was the bit about which two were next to go...they really have me worried! I don't want to lose anyone that we have known and loved for along time...(starts to cry)...to...to die...(full blown tears) Who do you think that it will be? What did you think of the interview?

****SPOILER TALK****

Your welcome DD. Any excuse to freeze frame that gorgeous man, I am happy. May I suggest (although you won't hear anything) that you watch the clip anyway? I just loved watching him through that. If you can lip-read you may be able to match what you read to the movement. :teehee:

Thank you. I agree with you about M.E. Yes, the Juliet info was very interesting. Yes, it did seem to imply we should be scared of her. I have always thought that there are worse people than the Others - the people in the outside world who obviously have contact with the Others, and know they are there - but it seemed to suggest that Juliet was even worse than Ben, and at the moment Ben is deemed evil.

Hmm...well the only mentioned about one person dying. I have my theories and I believe it will be either Locke or Sayid. My reason: it's one of the original characters so that is either Jack, Kate, Sawyer, Charlie, Locke, Sayid, Sun, Jin, Hurley or Claire. I see no point in killing any of the main three or any of the women. Hurley and Charlie would be a really bad move, and Jin isn't really important enough to be a death that leaves an impact. Killing either Locke or Sayid (two people handy to have on the island for various reasons) wil cause a major impact on those that are still alive. And we know LOST likes to leave and impact the end of a series.

The interview itself was great. The questions weren't ridiculously stupid, and there was some humour and some information. It was interesting to hear the reasons why the series only had 6 episodes shown before the 3 month break, and I loved M.E's answer about whether the arrests in Hawaii lead to people losing their jobs.

JF and Bananna Republic, Yes I am indeed a very long poster. I don't know exactly why...I think that it may be because I love to talk and I'm not kidding at all...my mouth is rarely Ever closed and when it is a good part of the time I'm "talking" online. lol So my love of talking may be what has lead to such long posts especialy considering that Lost is one of my favorite things to talk about. For another thing my family aen't really into it. So I usally try not to talk too much about it to them so as not to bore them. The thing with that though is that then I have so much (most of the time) left in me to say about Lost that my posts become huge.
Are any of your family members into Lost?
As I said my really aren't all that into it. My little sister and my much younger brother have seen around 2 episodes but they don't really understand it completely. My sister doesn't have the time for me to catch her up and does not seem interested in reading the stuff about it on Lost media...so it's not that she is incapable of understanding it it's just that she hasn't or doesn't want or have the time to do what makes it possable to understand it. Then my brother watches and likes it. He understands it enough to talk about who he likes but as for major plot points or anything like that he can't really get too deep into it. It's just that he is still so young. Then my mum has seen part of one episode and she said that it wasn't too bad and I am starting to hold out hope that she will get real into it. However I just don't know if she will or not. As for my dad he has shown no interest at all. As for extended family memebers...I don't have confirmation that any of them watch it. However I wil probabley ask around to all of them in about two weeks or so at my younger brother's birthday party to see if any of them watch Lost.
Well, is yours an entire Lost watching family or is it just your thing?

(Talks of Spoilers from here on out)
JF, Yes you may and I might watch it later (when I have more time). Though I really do suck at lip reading. I'm sure that ME looks great as allways in that interview. :-D
You're welcome.
Yes, indeed and that scares me. He has been deemed evil and at times he can seem maybe a bit evil. So if he's not as evil as Juliet....what are we getting ourselves into? (looks nervous)
Ah, yes one person...why did I put two? (shakes head) Anyway, I like the two possabilties that you have thought out and I must say that they do make sense. Personal speaking I'm pretty well in the dark so to speak as for who I think will be next to go. Also I'm kind of hoping that it turns out to be Locke :hide: that is next to go if we really have to have one go. Reason being that his character I find kind of creepy and not very exciting. He would probabley be my least favorite. No offence of course.
I agree and I also liked that they talked about why it was put to a sudden halt for awhile. That really helped me understand that bit and made me a bit less bitter about it being off for so long. Even thoiugh I wasn't actualy watching it back then. Oh, and I to am starting to wonder if you get arrested if that doesn't near automaticly get you fired from Lost. Not that it should or shouldn't but it just seems that most of the time (if not all the time thus far) when that happens they seem to get fired real quick. Maybe they should "fake" (set up some kind of deal with that actor/actress and with the law department or something) an arrest of one of the actors/actresses so as to make us think that they will be the next character to go and then have somebody else be the character that leaves. That would sure fool some people.
Okay, I think that I am finised for now. Oh, dear...another one of Drew's Destiny's super long post.  Sorry about that...I can't seem to help myself.

Yes, I know what you mean DD. Even if you have people to talk to about a subject in real life, it's always nice to get fresh opinions and see what other people think. Aww, I'm sorry your family isn't really bothered with LOST - and having a sibling that doesn't really understand it, isn't much better. Feel free to post as much as you want, I love talking about LOST. :D

My mum, dad and brother all like LOST. Although my mum is losing patience with it and my dad thinks it's Ok, lol. My brother really likes it, and we often talk about it. I think it puzzles him how I know so much about what Americans are watching and the in-depth info I can give him about each episode. :teehee:

****SPOILER TALK****

Hah, well I hope you get to watch it. It's only about 4 minutes long. ;)

Yes, you're right about Juliet. I suppose Juliet is scary in the fact that unlike Pickett, who got angry and tried to kill Sawyer, she is very calm and collected, and you never know what she is thinking. It's also been proven that she has no hesitation to kill somoene, and I think the cold calculation of that, is more scary than Ben, especially as she is trying to get in Jack's good books, which if she really is worse than Ben, will not be good for Jack.

Lol, well I'd have to disagree and hope it's Sayid. We'll have to agree to disagree on that. I really have no idea who it will be, that was just me theorizing, but I will be shocked if it's anyone else.

I still don't really understand why the re-runs caused problems - I mean surely LOST fans would know when a new episode was on? Why couldn't they have removed the re-runs or just show re-runs first and then the complete new series? A country though with so many channels is pretty confusing for someone who only has about 20.

It seems...very coincidental to me....:orly:....maye the Hawaiian goverment have been saying that people who disrepect the islands' rules have to be removed from Hawaii? You never know. LOL, that would fool us.

****END OF SPOILERS****

Naveen Andrews and Dominic Monaghan have ben complaining that they are not in this series enough. Even though they are being paid $78,000 per week (each episode takes 10 days to film) and they paid, even if they are not in that weeks show, and as much as they like being paid for doing nothing, they are frustrated that they are not doing their job.

Well.....all I can say is.....tough. I reall don't think it is fair to complain - they are being paid a heck of a lot of money for doing nothing and they are being made aware to the general public. They are finding fame (again for DM) and they are working in a lovely place. DM has even found love.....and really, they have been in practically every episode at some point, up until now....it's not as if they are the stars.....it's Kate, Jack and Sawyer who are the shows stars. But that might just be me. I always have strong opinions, when actors complain about something, even though they are being paid more a week than some people earn in 3 months.

Yes, I think so too. I don't want to even think about LOST romantic happenings - it hurts my head too much. So many possible pairings, tearings....argh...*runs round room screaming*..

JF, Wow an entire Lost watching family. I have heard of them and came across them here and there but never really met anyone who was a part of one. (is amazed) That's reallly awesome. When it airs in England are you and your family going to do anything special? Kind of a little Lost party maybe since all of you like it?
~~Spoiler Talk~~
Exactly! Pickett (to me at least) allways came off as this I'm big and I'm bad. Now that can be dangerous especialy if you're not exatcly big and are un able to take him on if he decides to take you out. However I'm more of the mind to think that the smart "bad guys/girls" are the ones that you have to watch. They can use your emotions and thoughts against. Also they usally know better what will get them what they want. So in my opinion they are much more dangerous.
Yep, we will agree to disagree on the who should go thing.
(nods)
~~End of spoiler talk~~

I was not aware of that. Thank you for keeping us up to date. Hmm, well personaly I can see both sides a bit in most cases. However in this paticular case I am more of the mind to agree that they really shouldn't complain over that. I mean it would be different if I could see a serious lack of their being on screen but it ain't so. They are on alot of the time considering that they are not the stars. (I agree I think that Kate, Sawyer, and Jack are the stars.) So I think that DM and NA should both be more grateful. That is Alot of money especialy when considering that they are complaining about not doing anything. I would be more than greatful to get paid to do nothing...let alone get paid 78,000 per week for doing nothing.
