i'm just watching bad wolf, and the answer to one of the questions on the weakest link (the game show rose ends up on) was torchwood. it would appear they already had the second series in mind when they were making the first.

I think someone said Torchwood has been mentioned before in classic who, but I don't know about that. They often leave little hints though, in the Torchwood episode "Captain Jack Harkness" in the old music hall theres graffiti saying "Bad wolf" and a poster that says "Vote Saxon", who's supopsed to be really important in series 3.
I am such a geek, aren't I?

^ seeing those pics reminded me, one of my friends met john barrowman while he was filming in cardiff recently. she was very exited, but then she is scarily obsessed with him.
i've just started watching torchwood (which i'm actually really liking, despite initial reservations) and i was wondering, do we ver find out how jack got off satellite 5?

i've just started watching torchwood (which i'm actually really liking, despite initial reservations) and i was wondering, do we ver find out how jack got off satellite 5? Its not directly mentioned, but we can presume he got sucked into the rift, landed in Cardiff sometime during WW1, went to Lahore as a soldier, came back to Cardiff and has been there ever since. But don't quote me on that- Jack's timeline makes my head hurt. I'm glad you're enjoying Torchwood, it totaly rocks! I saw these, but couldn't find the link again. It prompted an immense squee fest- Jack and 10-together! And this Saxon guy... I'd presume he was a political candidate, but we know nothing about him... *ponders*

Just to remind you that DT is starring in Recovery at 9PM on BBC (along with Sarah Parish, who played the weird spider thing in the runaway bride)
Glad you like Torchwood Montana, though I didn't get hugely obsessed with it till ep6, with the cannibals!

Ah man, why do I NOT get BBC?!
*sigh* Oh well, I think I'll survive. Ha ha ha!
Yeah, just something about that old lady and a happy Jack and faeries and little kids....makes me happy.
Yeah, so, last night I finished watching the whole season.
Can I just say that the last seconds of the last episode had me in a fangirl fit? I honestly freaked out... Never thought that sound would sound so good. XD Ha ha ha!

WHERE on EARTH did you find this soundtrack?
Must. Have. Urgent. Fangirl. Desire.
What was it called, just the Official Dr Who Soundtrack, or something like that?
'Fess up.

Yeah, I did find it. Very lucky...very...by chance methinks.
I happened to be browsing our most amazing record store...and stumbled upon it. I literally gasped. REALLY loudly too. Total fangirl squeeing moment. It was amazing.
You can find it on Amazon for sure. But, if you have any really good music stores, or stores that have really good music selections, you may be lucky enough to find it. But you have to look hard...or not...because, in my case, I wasn't expecting to find it.
It's called: "Doctor Who - The New Series - Original Television Soundtrack". Because apparently, there are lots of others...for the originals. But if you find lots of different ones (meaning original versions), find the one with David and Billie.
FWEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was thinking...In the episode "Fear Her" The Doctor said he was not a cat person, but I don't agree. He is very much a cat person. He's just like a cat! He doesn't just obey people, he does what he wants to do. He's more like a cat than he is a dog.
Just a thought.

Just a thought. XD Ha ha ha, I never thought of him as being like a cat. But, that sort of fits... I think he was talking about...in "New Earth"...cat nuns...that's the impression I got. You'll LOVE the last episode! just watched the last episode and i did indeed love it. as soon as tosh saw her mum, i knew the doctor was going to turn up for jack, so i was very happy to be proved right at the end (okay, so i know you didn't see him, but he was still there...kind of). i can't wait to see jack in the next series of doctor who. apparently it atarts airing the 31st march here, so i only have 24 days to wait. *is very exited* i'll miss billie though - i thought she was really good.
Just, moving this conversation from the "Most Recently Watched T.V. Show" thread.
It was great, wasn't it?
I'm SO jealous of all of you that only have to wait til the end of this month. Psssshhh...sooooo not fair. Ha ha ha! Especially considering Jack's...return.
You guys are going to have to let me know how Freema turns out. I'm really sad there's no Billie.

^ i go home for easter in 10 days, so i'm getting my sister to watch torchwood with me - spread the love!
i don't know if it is definitely the end of the month (if anyone could confirm, i'd be grateful) but i really hope it is - partly because it's soon, and partly because then i'll be able to watch the first couple of episodes with my family before i leave them again after easter (dr who's a family thing in our house, so it'll be wierd watching them on my own while i'm at uni).
and i agree with what you said earlier about that sound never sounding so good - i got all giddy and started shouting "i knew he'd come back! i knew it!" probably not a good idea at 1 in the morning when the walls are pretty thin. never mind!

Yay!! Spead the love! Spread the Torchwood love!!!!
Ha ha ha!!
Well, I've seen March 31 floating around a bit...but not exactly sure. *goes on hunt*
Yeah, I've no idea when it's supposed to start. XD I just wish it aired on SciFi the same time it does on BBC. Pssshhh! XD Ha ha ha!
Yeah, that last moment on Torchwood...there's a quote from "Love & Monsters" that I just thought fit both the moment in the show...and my own personal fangirl freak out.
Quote: "You can't imagine it - the Doctor's machine - the most beautiful sound in the world."
Yay for Elton so beautifully summing things up. XD

I checked the date on Outpost Gallifrey, thats defineatly it! *squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee*
So thats 518 hours 48 minutes
My apologies about my absence, my evil maths teacher called home after I handed in a piece of homework late (clearly ignoring the fact I have never, ever done that before, I didn't know when it had to be handed in, and the fatc I'm the best at maths in my year) and I got hugely grounded. *fumes*
^Go Elton! I do love the TARDIS oh so very much, my money box is in the shape of one
