Just start one.
Let's see...
hmm...
I know!
I Know!!
I know!
Let's talk about----
The first thing we did when we became "of age"---either 18 or 21, or both.

*nudges Ivy with a whisper*
You didn't add poor Jax to the list and you even recruited him personally!!
Another thing.. this is like a rebirth of the club and if we are to go on a recruiting spree we need campaign flyers and banners!! Or advertising in signatures... Hmm... if people don't have room for a new banner in their sig, we could at least flash a shiny new banner at the first post!!

Oh my goodness! You're right! *goes to fix problem*
Banners! Yes! That's a great idea.
No, not everyone is an underage drinker. I wasn't. I still don't drink much, just a 1/2 serving of wine with supper once a week or so.
When I turned 18, I was really eager to vote! So eager in fact that I went down to the DMV ahead of time and asked if I could fill out the form before my birthday. They said yes, and that way it was filed and I was listed as a voter ON my actual 18th birthday! It was so exciting. And the first time I made it to the polls---wow!
For my 21st birthday, I went out for an afternoon of pampering (you know, get your hair styled, buy a new outfit) and then went to Applebees for supper. Immediately I opened the beverage menu, chose a wine, and as soon as the waiter came to take out drink orders, I handed him my ID and told him what I wanted.

No, I don't believe everyone was an underage drinker either. No-one in my family really drink and me and my older brother never have. I've never eben tried it! There's nothing wrong with people drinking it's the drink-as-much-as-you-can-as-quickly-as-you-can-then-throw-up-and-start-over-again drinkers who give people our age a bad name.

Yeah, I don't drink (still underage at the old age of 19.. ). But, I've tried ... alcoholic beverages. I just don't like the taste of it. XD So, I've unoffically become all my friends' DD. Ha ha ha! Oh well. *sigh*
Mmm...when I turned 18....I had a birthday party that was more suited for wee little kids, but I had TONS of fun!! Yeah, it was fantastic!
The greatest thing about turning 18 was getting to vote!
Not that I could do much because the one election I was really into, I was too young to vote in. But come primaries....fweee! For both the primaries and general elections..ha ha ha...I was so excited that I showed up VERY early! You know how all the old people are there first, yeah...I was the youngest there! It was fantastic!
My 21st birthday will probably be nothing special. Don't plan on bar hopping or anything.
I might do something like some of my friends did our senior year of high school. Instead of the usual, "Senior Keg," we had an "Anti-Senior-Keg." Ha ha ha ha! Much more fun. So, maybe I'll have an "Anti-21st-Birthday" or something. Ha ha ha!

I didn't say everyone is, just everyone I know personally and including myself had done so
Anyway when I turned 18, there really wasn't much for me to look forward. I don't really vote cause I'm really into the policital stuff, no need to buy cigarettes cause I don't smoke, (well, only once when I brought them for someone else who was underage) so about the only thing I was looking forward to was to be able to buy scratch tickets.
Turning 21, well that turned out to be a big mess for me. A friend was suppose to take me out that day but instead she had to cancel due to a family emergency. I was disappointed.

On the day of my 18th a bus driver gave me a child's ticket I was most annoyed especially as a child is under 16 on the bus.
Drinking wasn't that big a deal as I'd already been drinking for a good few years, generally with my family. I do remember the first time I bought alcohol a few weeks later though. As I was the first of my friends to turn 18 I had to buy it for the party.
Voting was what I was more excited about My birthday was in April and my first election was that May so that was pretty cool. I spend ages thinking about who I'd vote for. It was only the european parliament elections but it was still very exciting. And I'm even more excited about voting in the Scottish parliment elections this May. I aranged my postal vote back in December
