Norrington was walking the deck swiftly, giving orders to the mutated crew, while his mind sped ahead to what must be done.
"FIRE!" he cried again, grabbing a rail to hold himself when the Dutchman lurched from the aim of the cannon. He then ran to the deck, and examined the damage carefully. "One of the main sails," he muttered to himself, followed by another command, "Bring her alongside!"
Barbossa was desperate now for any alternative, and he cursed everything -from the Dutchman to Sparrow to the bloody wind, although he knew it helped none. Another ear-splitting shot filled the air, and the foremast was hit, and began cracking down. "NO! Dammit, no! Take the wheel Turner!" he said, scrambling up to release the tight ropes.

"So you're jus' goin' to waltz out onto th' deck an' start lookin' for th' heart?" Bootstrap asked dubiously.

Will scrambled to his feet and dodged toward the wheel as fast as he could. Trying to straighten the wheel, he held on as tight as possible, but the stormy breeze seemed to be almost too strong. ---------------------------------
Elizabeth ran to Will's side and helped support the wheel as well, "Hang in there, Mr. Turner!"

Davey Jones stepped towards the rail. The Black Pearl was coming close, and she was not going to escape this time. He had seen that ship far too many times survive, but today, he was going to end that remedy. "Prepare'a the triple guns!" said Captain Jones, loudly across the deck.

"Ye've been on The Dutchman heaven knows how long.." he muttered before he continued, "An' now, ye tell me the place, where ol' Norri-what's his face, might have placed said thump-thump...for not even Jones must know where his said, deeply, beloved, cherished, thump-thump is..."
He stopped, raised an eyebrow and looked up towards Turner, "Ye followin' mate?"

"Generally th' point of a secret hiding place is t' be secret," Bootstrap felt compelled to point out. "There're men who've been 'ere twice as long as I have an' still don't know all this ship's secrets. Th' only one who'd know is Jones 'imself, an' I doubt he'd in th' mood to share. I know of a few, but..." He trailed off, shrugging listlessly.

"Yer not makin' any sense at all mate..." Jack Sparrow said with two raised eyebrows. "Just 'elp me out here Bootstrap." Said Jack barring his shark set of teeth together. "Do us a favour, help me out, and try not to do anything stupid...or can I even trust ye with that?" He looked Bootstrap Bill up and down with a digusted pulled upperlip.

Barbossa, the always-ready, was reaching for the end of his rope both in action and in mind. As the two ships fired at one another repeatedly, holes were blown in the Pearl quicker than they could load their cannons to fire a solitary shot at the Dutchman. Outnumbered wouldn't have been near a strong enough word for it- it would have been like comparing rum to water. No comparison.
Another blast hit the ship, and he grabbed a rope, bellowing orders to Will and the others to load the cannons faster. The Pearl wouldn't go down... it wouldn't! He had just gotten it back- and he wasn't about to let it back to the depths. But the Dutchman had such an advantage...such...
"Somethin'; ye got to know somethin' else we can do!?" he cried above the bellow of the cannons and the wind, reaching out an unsteady hand to grab Tia Dalma. His eyes pleaded with her in a desperation that was foreign to him.
----
"Take her down. I want to watch her black sails sink below even your domain Mr. Jones," James Norrington was saying. He was bitterly enjoying this; although he wouldn't admit his heart was struggling wryly within him. Why did this feel so awkward... this WAS what he wanted, after all. To see this ship which had so cursed his life, sunken and never revived. Never.
But he looked oddly towards it, nonetheless.

Bootstrap merely glared back wordlessly as he continued to contemplate the location of the chest. "Follow," he said abruptly, grabbing Jack by the arm and passing through a nearby wall with the pirate in tow.
They came out in the shadows of a small, hidden room with moisture dripping from the ceiling. Two clueless marines sat there, apparently sound asleep despite the violent pitching of the ship and the sounds of cannonfire. "Think ye can handle 'em?" Bootstrap whispered, remaining in the shadows.

Tia glanced up briefly at Barbossa from her position on the deck. "I cannae...control it no more," she replied, the strain evident in her voice. "I'm nae...powerful enough." She closed her eyes and gritted her teeth in a final attempt to gain control, then without warning let out a piercing cry. Wavering unsteadily, she slumped back against Barbossa, apparently rendered unconscious by the effort.

Will placed Elizabeth's hands on the wheel and said, "Whatever you do, keep her steady!"
Running to the cannons, Will tried his best to load and fire them as quickly as he could...but it was quite unsuccesful with the little crew members they had. ----------------------------------------
Elizabeth's face was dertermined but deep inside she felt that they all would die aboard this ship...... Blinking back the tears, she continued to hold on tightly to the wheel.

Jack raised a brow at Bootstrap, questioning the man and what exactly did he mean by that phrase. Though, to question at a time like this wouldn't be one of the smartest things he has done, so luckily, Jack decided to leave that nagging feeling away from himself for the time being.
With a slight nod towards Bill, Jack stepped out of the shadows and started to saunt his way over to the two Marines.
Slowly, he slithered his way behind them and in a quick second, he reached around, covered both their mouths, and violently started electricuting them.

Barbossa caught Tia with one quick gesture, looking in confusion down at her. This was not how he had planned for things to go; furthermore this wasn't even how he had planned for things to go if things didn't go according to plan. Worse, that just bloody sounded like Jack.
But he had no time to hold, revive, or throw her overboard. The Pearl was seeing more damage than he could ever remember seeing before. It was time for a new course of action, but there was no time to change their actions: they had naught to do but stand their ground and fight it out.
The foremast fell now, splitting the air with the sound as splinters went everywhere. It barely missed hitting the Dutchman, the two ships were so close.
"You'll bring your men aboard." James said quietly to Jones, in a voice that was indisputable. His eyes were yet fixated on the other ship.

Bootstrap stepped out of the shadows as both soldiers slumped to the ground, determining that now would not be a good time to comment on Jack's methods. "Start looking," he said quietly. "There aren't that many places t' hide somethin' in here."

Will hid behind a cannon as the pieces of wood scattered across the deck.
A shriek was heard up near the wheel. It was Elizabeth. She had been punctured through her arm with a sharp piece of the foremast wood.
Will's eyes squinted up in the direction of Elizabeth through all the utter chaos arising. "ELIZABETH!" he shouted as he tried to dash up the stairs.
Elizabeth fell to her knees, allowing the wheel to spin out of control.

Davey Jones' cold eyes slid over to glare at Norrington's face. "Aye..." said the Captain of The Flying Dutchman.
Davey slammed his crab-like leg into the planks as he turned around and shouted orders to the crewmembers aboard his ship, in which they immediately followed, and one by one, they appeared aboard The Black Pearl.
________
“Great,” Jack piped up. “Now that we’re all amiable and such, how’s about ye tellin' me where said places are to look for said thump-thump?”
Sparrow ducked under a few nets and started looking there, trying to ignore the fact that a new growth was sprouting somewhere along his torso.
